Well something I really didn't take into account is the field was more level for Lambert due to our new OC. But I still think it speaks volumes about the possible lack of development of Ramsey and Bauta

Yeah I'm sure the OL is gonna tank so Ramsey or Bauta can start. Why can't Lambert have come in and earned the spot? I appreciate the fact that Ramsey and Bauta are working their arses off but damn. Like or hate the decision but why wish for anything but success for UGA?

Best case scenario is Lambert shines this year, starts again next year, Eason redshirts, runs a fricking train on his dad's alma mater in Southbend as a first year starter in 2017

I didn't post anything about a rookie starting. I think Eason will be great and if he comes in and wins the spot as a rookie, I'm all for it. If they redshirt him, and we have another guy who can get the job done, I'm all for it. Not sure where you got that.

Didn't mean to say you did. I started a thread last night saying Eason will start and was berated by folks saying Richt don't do that. Well by starting a transfer quarterback with a few months of the playbook under his belt he just did which make me believe he will start Eason if he is good enough.
