some of ya'll said the same shite about Park

Ummm....errr....that NEVER happened. There were some here really hoping that Park would step up and be the guy this year based on just how bad Brice looked in his limited playing time; but Park has NEVER been considered anything close to Stafford-esque. He was a decently rated QB coming out of high school, but he was not anywhere close to the caliber of talent that Stafford and Eason were/are.

If anything, I have personally always maintained that Park would never start a game for us based on his erratic play. He was consistently noted in high school for throwing 3 or 4 gems and then giving you 1 or 2 WTF?! plays thereafter.

From another poster on 247... quote:Until someone can explain how Golson gets around SEC Bylaw 14.1.15.1(d), I think this is all an academic discussion. I know he can apply for a waiver, but I just don't see that happening. I'm pretty cynical, but I can't see the SEC turning a blind eye to a regulation they adopted less than a year ago (apparently the rule was adopted as of May 30, 2014) to make an exception for Golson. His previous suspension for cheating clearly violates that regulation - it's pretty black and white

That worries me but I'd like to think the SEC would do us a solid. Also, I think it is less black and white what this guy is saying. He isn't transferring because of the suspension. If he had tried to come to school that year then I think they'd have a case but he served his time and then went back.

Idk, I may be reading it wrong but I think this bylaw is aimed more towards people being disciplined looking for a new school to get out of paying their dues. He already did. Not sure if I am right about that or not.

I like you guys but yall should do some searching on this board from the time around the beginning of spring camp...it was an arse kissing fest for Park until he sucked it up compared to Ramsey and Bauta...im not going to waste the time finding the links but they are there...what matters is that CMR and squattenheimer will figure it out and put the best qb on the field...we hope

and how exactly does that compare to our arse kissing of Eason? There's a difference in saying a guy looks good compared to the 2 people he's competing with and saying a guy is better than every peer he has in the country with every tool and skillset you could possibly want.

I agree, they (well, richt) have done that since he's been here

so does that mean that if at some point ramsey gets unseated that they will have failed in doing that?

touche'....but he isn't here...you guys get so hyped over a kid who has performed well in HS...the SEC is a different ball game all together and you know it...lots of guys were supposed to be something...and then turn out not doing shite...im just trying to be that voice of reason...no way we know how "great" eason will be until he gets some meaningful snaps etc....calling him a world beater when he hasn't done shite is foolish...I never called Brice a world beater, just that he was the next in line after HM...which as of right now...proves me to be pretty spot on...I know they are competing right now...which is healthy...but how many snaps did Brice take last season compared to Bauta?...its Brices job to lose...been saying it since he was a junior at CCHS...was I wrong?

I looked....you are correct that most in THIS thread didn't suck him off...but many drive by posters did...so the smooch fest was there for some...

Golson is visiting USCe Monday and UGA Tuesday per 247. There appears to be some interest on UGA's part.

there are some people that are so elite they are simply a cut above everyone else. Anyone with eyes could see from AJ Green's junior year of HS that he was special, he just had "it". It didn't matter what college he went to, he was going to be a star. Of course there are busts, but there are also high profile guys that live up to the billing too. There is no reason at all why people shouldn't be downright giddy about eason and expect him to be the best QB on campus when he gets here.

-well yeah he's next in line after hutson. What happens when eason gets here is a different story
-You've done a little more than just that. You seem to believe that bobo and richt have been grooming him since his first year to be our next big QB.

Wrong in that he would be the QB after Mason? That seems right, after a redshirt year then getting mopup snaps yes, he does look to be next in line. He's also not competing against elite talent either. Eason is an elite talent.

I think we should start off offering prima nocte or first right's to our first arrest with the ability to fall back on spotting him 7 pts. I like where your head is at, though.

I know they have...well Bobo at least...but him leaving changes things...I hope Eason is all you say he is...at this point...whoever can get us in those playoffs is my favorite...Brice bias aside....i think we all agree on that
