I wish we could get someone to slow mo his throws. I can but I don't have a great video of him throwing.

Like I said earlier, I don't se anything glaring with his machanics but I would guess because he is inconsistent with his Ball that his release point is off. Early RP causes high throws, late RP causes low throws.

I forget who posted about this but if Eason wasn't great with his 3, 5, or 7 step drop he wouldn't have beaten out Grayson or Brice. To be honest, I highly doubt we use a 7 step drop ever. It's almost become extinct all across football.

I think his biggest footwork issues were probably evident when he was moving through out the pocket. I think that Jacob probably had great difficulty matching his arm strength and timing of release with the speed of his college receivers.

I'd imagine there will be a big jump in this because he can work on it all spring and summer. Last spring and summer he was trying to learn everything.

Jake Rowe from 247 has said that Eason's throwing motion looks much quicker/shorter this year. Not as much wasted motion which should be a good thing.

That wasn't something that was a worry to a lot of people he was pretty quick last year. That can be helpful to get the all in the window.

I go back to this, it's a huge deal to be able to understand and move throughout progressions quickly. Also, it is really tough for a QB to make protection calls.

Any recent practice notes come out, not related to Jacob Eason? Would be cool to read.

Dominick Sanders went down with a knee injury in a scrimmage today. Kirby said
they believe it's only a grade one MCL sprain though.

Awful link. A ball that was thrown 8 yards out of bounds shows nothing, especially since the whole week it was said that Mecole was body catching almost everything.

It was a great one-handed catch. Relax.

Not worried in the slightest. Dude played through a effed up shoulder last year, he'll be back in no time.

That's great but he keeps bouncing balls off our OLine's heads because of that weird side arm release. Which makes him seem more like a 6' QB, not 6'6.

If he fixes that + all of the things you mentioned, he will be unbelievable IMO.

Fromm is pushing Eason in the film room. It sounds like Fromm is a DGD.
