Think about it.
Lose = Out, obviously.

Win =
1. Michigan
2. Winner of Oregon/Washington
3. FSU
4. Texas

Absolutely no way the committee puts in Alabama over UT when UT beat them straight up at home. Ain't gonna happen.

The don’t deserve it anyway.
#TheBamaDecline is in full effect and will only get worse when Saban retires at the end of the season

Bama will be in with a win and UGA is the one that is out with a loss

UGA needed that Auburn win over Bama which would have gotten UGA in with a reasonable loss or win

If they beat Georgia in a close game Georgia still gets in

We would definitely need some help with FSU and Texas both losing. Either way, there will not be a complaint from me. We should've beat Texas when we played them earlier in the year.

I'm just happy we improved as much as we did throughout the season. If you would've told me after the USF game we would end the regular season 11-1 I would've called you a dumbass.

FSU can win and still not get in IMO w their QB being out. Alabama can absolutely get in if they win as it was the talking point in the iron bowl. Georgia is out if they lose.

wait announcers were trying to appeal to a fan base of a team playing in the game they were covering?

So 11–1, playing in the SEC Championship Game, with a chance to make the CFP and a New Year's Six bowl at worst?

Fixed it.

FSU is this year's TCU. Best win occurred in week 1 of the season. Since then, a lot of close wins over middling teams. Not impressive. More a circumstance of good timing versus a bad schedule. High 50s, low 60s SOS, depending on where you look.

Imagine living your life just hoping that another team eventually gets worse. Kinda sad. Just be happy to be LSU. Comparison is the thief of joy.

Same people who have votes and influence to the committee, yes.

The argument is Georgia is a beast and no one can beat them. If Alabama beats them, they will be in. Not to mention the biggest group of viewers in CFB is SEC.

It won't come to Bama-Texas. It will come down the Bama-Oregon and who has the better resume. It would be extremely difficult not to as Bama would have to most impressive win (UGA) and the best loss (Texas) ...but yall keep on praying

Also, early season losses don’t matter as much as late season. I personally think Oregon & Washington should be dropped anyways as west coast football and their conf is dead. Texas should be making their argument based off of those two teams.

I agree. Alabama desperately needs a Texas loss. Assuming Alabama beats Georgia

This is one of those dreaded years where the SEC title game can actually hurt you more than help you, same goes for Washington

Another conundrum is what if Iowa shocks Michigan, does the Big 10 get left out altogether?
