Oregon is in if they win. For sure.

Why? If Bama beats an undefeated Georgia and Oregon beats an undefeated Washington, why does Oregon get in? Georgia has been higher ranked than Washington all year. Alabama's resumé will be better.

Big assumption about Texas winning.

Big assumption about FSU winning, too.

Bama ain’t getting in no matter what. You know it. I know it. Seems no one else knows this. If you have a brain it’s easy to see that if UW loses , they probably won’t jump their ranking in final top 25

We get it...you Duck fans aren't involved in the playoff conversation as often as we are, so your ignorance can be forgiven.

Want to talk about having a brain? Anyone with two brain cells to rub together and who has followed college football more than six months knows that both Bama and Texas will jump Ohio State if they win.

Serious question: are you really this stupid, or have you just not been following college football very long?

Dawgs are in either way. Bama has been out since they lost at home to Texas. It's good to be King.

So Georgia gets in with the same record, no SEC championship, a head to head loss, and not as many good wins? You're basically saying they get in solely on the strength of a better loss which just happens to be against the team you think they would get in over

Logistically, it seems pretty far fetched to jump from 8 into the top 4.

I love watching Bama fans do mental gymnastics to justify them being in the playoffs.

You just said this:

quote:

If I am not mistaken, there are no media members on the CFP committee.

Not only did you feel the need to lecture all of us about something we've all known since this started in 2014...the fact that there are no media members on the committee...you had to qualify it with a "if I'm not mistaken". Newsflash, genius: all of us who have been involved with this for 10 years already know that. We get that this whole concept of your team being in the playoff discussion is new to you Texas fans. So while your ignorance is cute, you'll understand if we don't regard your opinion as one that's worthy of merit.

Has a team ever gone from #8 to #4 with a conference win and made playoffs? I genuinely don't know.

Gee, if only there was a source you could go to and find out.

While you're at it, you could see the most top four teams in one season going into championship weekend have lost.

With an FSU loss i also wouldnt be surprised if they put tOSU in before either.

Those of us who have been following this for more than a year know that Ohio State is stuck right where they are, no matter what.

#TheBamaDecline is in full effect and will only get worse when Saban retires at the end of the season

We want Saban to keep getting lucky “sold his soul” type wins like Auburn, then miss or lose the playoffs, so that he stays longer. Dude isn’t the same but will keep coaching as long as he has a glimmer of hope.
