If going 11-1 with a team that looked like it would go 7-5 after 3 games is a decline then Saban is aging pretty gracefully.

Get your kleenex handy because if Bama wins they're in

I think Bama is almost a lock for a spot if they win even though it isn't right. There would be talk of even GA in a close loss getting in if FSU loses also but I doubt they would go that far.

SEC didn't have a great showing in OOC games this year.

Honestly, I can see Ohio state jumping Bama if Texas loses, too. Their loss is to Michigan. Bama's is to Texas, and if Texas wins they're in but if Texas loses then Bama's loss looks even worse.

Ya I agree. Writing is on the wall. No team has ever jumped from 8 to 4 for a playoff spot. Even if FSU lose and UW loses bama wouldn’t even jump UW in final rankings bc their only loss is to #5. Bama is playing for pride but playoff hopes are already dashed. Pac12 winner is in regardless , I’m just mentioning a UW loss bc no one is talking about how Bama wouldn’t jump UW in that case.

Why are we only analyzing losses? What wins would make Washington's resume better than Bama's? The loser of the Pac 12 is out

From you response may I suggest you contact your BMD, and negate the move to the SEC.

Over here, things are run out of Birmingham. Bama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn run the SEC.

Disney/ ESPN own the SEC. They are by the way broadcasting the Natty and semi’s.

If you think your win in September means shite to the SEC, then it doesn’t.

Look up tv ratings past ten years. Bama has twice the national eyeball appeal than does Texas.

So, as they say, money talks and bullshite wallks.

But don’t worry future SEC breathern, as much of a Bama homer as I am, I don’t think we will win Saturday. So, I’m sure you will get in.

I'd think the Committee is dying to get either OSU or Mich in. They want those awful midwestern eyeballs.

Loser of pac12 is out 100% but where does UW drop if they lose ? Ohio state only dropped 3 places. UW probably drops to 6. Ohio state creeps up at 5. Then Bama needs to jump UW and Ohio state ? AND TEXAS Eek, lol good luck. Where does Georgia drop if bama wins 4? They aren’t dropping 4 places.

Bama ain’t getting in no matter what. You know it. I know it. Seems no one else knows this. If you have a brain it’s easy to see that if UW loses , they probably won’t jump their ranking in final top 25. And won’t jump Ohio state or Texas. And if bama beats Georgia , Georgia isn’t dropping to 5 lol. But the Bama fans are relentless. I will give them that. Impressive in their fight.

"Bama will be in with a win and UGA is the one that is out with a loss

UGA needed that Auburn win over Bama which would have gotten UGA in with a reasonable loss or win"

This

The winner is in. Loser is out.

Folks. There's no way in hell the committee is going to leave out the SEC champion with only one loss. Two-probably, one-no chance.

Its interesting that people are holding Bama and UGA to the same standard. They don't have the same records.

Not sure if Bama is in with a win or UGA out with a loss.

I agree Georgia gets in at 4. Georgia is not dropping 4 places with a bama loss

But Michigan most certainly will if they're upset by Iowa.

A loss to a pretty good Texas team very early in the year, isn't nearly as bad as a loss to a mediocre Iowa team late in the year.

This could get really interesting all over the country on Saturday.

You're assuming both of those win. Bama only needs one to lose.

Why would Georgia be ranked above Alabama when they would have the same record, Bama won head to head, and Bama would have better wins? Same with Washington except for the head to head
