You went to overtime with FAU.

Coach Mac might want to start scheduling strictly small high school teams from the middle of nowhere if he wants to look more competitive.

Coach Mac regressed you andeveryone knows it!

UT would name the score against FAU and thus current Gator squad as well.

As a Gator I'd want to see a quality OOC regular season road game outside of the state of Florida before you ultimately return to the mortal coil.

Congrats to Foley for finally putting that 25 year embarrassment to bed. I'm a Dallas resident and may even venture over to the Death Star to see it.

Hello, We just fired Richt for not beating Florida enough and now some dipshitte thinks UF is afraid of a Mark Richt Lead Miami team. That is High Larry US!!

I hate UF but both schools are somewhat hampered by the Neutral Site and In State OOC Rivals.

We get out play on occasion, went to Colorado, Oky State, and Arizona State, played Clemson, and have Notre Dame Coming up.

Maybe Uf should drop FSU for Miami, probably be an easier win most years.

UF doesn't have a reason to play Miami. Miami wants to play UF because they want the money . But keep on trolling , don't let facts get in the way.

Because our main in-state rival (FSU) isn't in the same conference so we already fill up that OOC spot up. We have other OOC spots available but we play cupcakes---about the same number as everyone else in the country so eat it.

Foley has addressed this ad nauseum due to fan questions - so my answer is just based on what I've heard him say - and he's always said that due to WLOCP, having a minimum number of home games each year is a necessity for the budget. If Miami is home and home or neutral site, that requirement can't be met.

Right, but I've seen that primarily brought up when talking about scheduling a second P5 game more frequently than we currently do. I don't think there is any desire to add a second game permanently. The athletic department will never schedule that aggressively while the rest of the conference plays one tough OOC game per year.

FSU never had that issue with scheduling Florida and Miami

You're missing the gist of my inquiry.

For 25 years, it seems as though UF's OOC slate is FSU + bunch of cupcakes.

Which is the same formula as every other school. You want us to schedule 2 P5 schools annually, why doesn't your school do it?

Yeaaaah. Because the ACC is known for being just as much of a grind as the SEC. Do you even strength of schedule?

This is like asking why Georgia doesn't play Clemson and Tech every year. Or demanding Bama add Ohio State and USC and LSU add Notre Dame and Michigan.

Florida already plays more highly ranked OOC teams than any other SEC team with FSU as an annual opponent.

Wait are you actually dumb enough to think that the Vols play a harder OOC schedule than Florida most seasons?
