You're missing the gist of my inquiry.

For 25 years, it seems as though UF's OOC slate is FSU + bunch of cupcakes.

Florida actually had the luxury of a declining FSU program under Bowden to beat up on from the early 2000s until Jimbo took over.

I'm an LSU fan. And at your reference to our AD not putting quality OOC opponents on our schedule if that's what your inferring.

Out of recent OOC opponents VT (02,07,twice), North Carolina(2010), Arizona State(2005), Wisconsin (2013, 2016), Oregon State(2004), Oregon(2011), and Washington (2009, 2012), I believe that Washington was the only school to not appear in the Top 25 the week of kickoff versus LSU.

UF only gets FSU because of the in state rivarly.

Your chicken sh$t athletic department would pay its way out of that matchup if it thought it could get away with it untarnished.

UF NEVER plays good ooc competition besides that penciled in FSU game.

Please name one in recent memory.

I'll leave it at this.

You will have to go all the way back to:

1991 (Syracuse) or 1983 (Southern Cal) to revert to a time where UF has played at a tough OOC road venue not named the Orange Bowl or Doak Walker.

1983 and 1991.

In fairness USCe's recent Athletic Directors have the same philosophy as Foley given the annual game with Clemson.

Since 2010. oregon, Cincinnati, NC state, oregon, oklahoma, oklahoma.

3 of those 6 were outside the state of Tennessee. How many OOC games has Florida played more than 3 hours from their home field?

Florida Flop I'd be remiss if I let a Florida vs Miami thread pass without a mention of the infamous "Florida Flop."

VT - 2007 (Orange Bowl BCS Berth that season)

VT - 2011 (Sugar Bowl BCS Berth that season)

W. Va - 2011 (Orange Bowl Champions that season)

Oregon - 2011 (Rose Bowl Champions that season)

Our periodic OOC slate is tougher than 90% of the rest of the SEC. You lost all credibility by stating LSU's OOC slate has been a joke.

We open up with Wisconsin next year who will be in the Top 15. Between 2017-2020 both Texas & Miami could find themselves in the Top 25 when the game is ultimately played.

OU was a playoff team thus year and dominated Bama last time they played.

We play top ranked OOC teams EVERY year and even our cupcake games are tougher opponents than what you schedule.

Bowling Green would boat race you if you played today.
