It's pretty clear to 90% of college football that Saban and Bert are advocating this rule change because their defense have trouble with the HUNH. It's a complete joke that a coach is trying to hide behind player safety to implement a rule change because he can't stop it otherwise.

Of course you forget that Bielema was advocating for the rule before he even played in the SEC or faced a HUNH offense.

But facts get in the way of your narrative

Our slow pace will inflict so many injuries on your team you won't be able to finish the game..

That would be the only way it would be close.

Did he not play Oregon in one of those Rose Bowls he lost? At least try and not be completely wrong all the time.

It was kinda close this year.. in fact that's why your coach freaked out and started faking injuries.

Hell, if you rewatch the game after every big Arkansas play there was an Auburn injury.

Face it. Barners are terrified that they're going to be completely and utterly screwed with their one trick pony.

I mean you've got Barners who are saying you guys should leave the NCAA if this rule changes.

What facts? The fact that he lost to Oregon in the Rose Bowl. Bert was advocating the rule because he realized he wouldn't be able to beat a team like that. DWI

Looks like he is waiting on someone to throw a hotdog(or something similiar) in his mouth.

And June of 2013 was after he lost to Oregon in the Rose bowl.

... after two half back passes... an onsides kick... a fake FG... and pick plays to get your WRs open.

beilema called the game like a guy who knew he was outclassed at nearly every position and with his coaching staff...

The fact arkansas held the ball for 40 minutes and still got their sh*t kicked in should really worry hog fans.

"On offense you can always have a tired player throw up his hand and sub out, but on defense the only way is if you call timeout. This is about player safety. I had a player, an asthmatic kid, I couldn't get the kid out." -- Todd Berry

So there it is, folks. It really IS a safety issue... for all the asthmatic defenders.
