Sounds like 3 foot rubber boots were needed for that meeting. Piled thick and high.

Todd Berry is a hypocrite. La-Mo ran nearly the same number of players per game as Auburn last season.

Slow down, Todd!

What would Arkansas fans have thought about this rule when Petrino was coach?
We would have supported it, because tBeacon's foremost concern is player safety.

The real question is: why are Auburn fans so cavalier about the way their coach places so many young men in danger with the way he coaches his teams?

Petrino didn't run a HUNH so I probably wouldn't have cared if it passed then just like I don't care now. It's not going to affect us either way.

Are you really this stupid? Of course they aren't going to discuss this as a strategy move. It is an off year for changing rules #1, and #2 the only way a change can be made is calling it safety for the players. None of them will admit to it being strategy anyway.

As has been discussed plenty they haven't even introduced any data to back up their claims the HUNH causes more injuries.

More denial from the Gusbussers. There's been a run on Kool-Aid in Auburn, AL.

It's not Gus' job to condition other teams players to play college football.

His players don't get hurt from fast tempo teams.

This kind of misses the point. The rule is not really about increasing the amount of time between snaps. Hardly any plays are snapped with 30 or more seconds on the play clock. This rule will have virtually no impact on number of plays per game.

is this speculation or has he spoken on it?

i imagine arkansas fans would be taking a similar approach as LSU fans right now... think it's a bullsh*t rule based on false/misleading principles... but they wouldn't be as emotionally invested as the fans of HUNH teams.

They don't? Hell, Swain couldn't even keep up with Arkansas's glacial pace. So much for conditioning.

What do you mean, is it speculation? Petrino doesn't run HUNH. Our team huddled under Petrino, unless we were in 2 minute.
