Hard to believe Jordan Jefferson QB'd one of the greatest LSU teams to ever see the field.

Then summarily cut it's head off when it counted.

Jefferson

So? You came within a TD of beating us (national champs) in 2006...does that make your 2006 team a great one? Of course not.

2012 was a very good team with a pretty suspect defense and a woeful rush defense. 2002 is richt's best team and it's not even really all that close. 02 would have smoked your 07 team.

I said the greatest team of all time, maybe you didn't hear me.

But but but but but but everyone on that defense went to the NFL!!!! I dont' care, this isn't about the NFL, it's about college. 95 nebraska is by far the best college team ever and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

2001 Miami had far better players, period. Miami was superior at every position other than QB.

This team gave up 21 points the entire season, but 7 of those were the Cannon return.

And? This is about the better "team" idiot, not who had the best players. I guess by your logic Duke is a much better basketball team than mercer this year just because duke has better players.

Florida had more talent across the board than miami last year, we still lost. You struggle with logic don't you?

This may be true but, as I said before, 2001 Miami did not dominate its competition like 1995 Nebraska did. Compare the two schedules:

2001 Miami

@ Penn State: 33-7
vs. Rutgers: 61-0
@ Pittsburgh: 43-21
vs. Troy State: 38-7
@ #14 Florida State: 49-27
vs. West Virginia: 45-3
vs. Temple: 38-0
@ Boston College: 18-7
vs. #14 Syracuse: 59-0
vs. #12 Washington: 65-7
@ #14 Virginia Tech: 26-24
vs. #4 Nebraska: 37-14

1995 Nebraska

@ Oklahoma State: 64-21
@ Michigan State: 50-10
vs. Arizona State: 77-28
vs. Pacific: 49-7
vs. Washington State: 35-21
vs. Missouri: 57-0
vs. #8 Kansas State: 49-25
@ #7 Colorado: 44-21
vs. Iowa State: 73-14
@ #10 Kansas: 41-3
vs. Oklahoma: 37-0
vs. #2 Florida: 62-24
