Considering 2011 Stanford and 2011 OSU existed, 2011 Alabama likely doesn't even reach the championship game if a playoff existed.

But you said you fondly remembered NC State beating Clemson in 2016

I fondly remember you poorly attempting a deflection from the premise of this hilarious "better loss than OSU" discussion.

Let's see how it pays off for you.

But...you clearly said that you remembered the 6-6 North Carolina State University Wolfpack beating the Clemson University tigers during the 2016 football season. I'm just trying to fully understand the situation

Alabama's game plan was much the same as it was the first time around.

Yea this not even close to be being true.

LSU played a very similar game

Now this is absolutely true. And that is the start of the downfall of les Miles.

Is NC State any more relevant than Pitt?

Well maybe slightly but what is gonna keep me up at night is that you used the word fondly. Fondly implies a vivid memory and im trouble seeing as to how it's possible that you remember NCSU beating Clemson fondly

Continued deflection is your best course of action.

They adjusted by trying to expand their option attack against linebackers they thought were "slow."

No, they ran the same plays and same option that almost scored a TD in OT in the first game at Bama.

Outside of that, they tried nothing new. At all.

The defense didn't "quit". The offense and remaining coaching staff did.

LSU lost the moment the rematch was announced, IMO. The immediate interviews with the players told the story.

So? That was stated literally right after LSU won the first game on your turf. What was he supposed to say? LOL

What he should have said was:

"If we have to do it all over again, I'll do it the same way!"

The game on 1/9 was closer to reality than the game on 11/5.
Really? On 11/5, if Russell Shepard doesnt trip over his own feet, we score the games only TD and the rematch never happens. It was that close

Don't forget about Ford stepping out of bounds too in OT for what would have been an easy TD.

Ford I think missed three or four TDs that year doing that. I know he did it against Arky and I think Ole Miss later in the season.

This topic is pure gold when it comes to jimmie rustling...I wonder how many more years it'll be good for.

That's probably because you're over on some other conference's forum that doesn't pertain to you at all...in fact, if you'd run along, none of this would bother you.
