Yes and we already beat y'all that year. Pretty easy to comprehend. Bama getting in that game was a fluke

And kicking is part of the game since that's always yalls go to excuse

Not so much the game as the selection of Alabama to play LSU in a rematch game. If not for that event, it's very likely we don't have a playoff right now.

That is true...but the voters frick the Big 12 champion Oklahoma State out of that game...and no it is not obvious who the better team was, the fact is, its very difficult to beat a top ranked team twice in one season...

The Steelers beat the Ravens twice and won the division last time Baltimore won the super bowl

Baltimore went in to Pittsburg and beat them in the playoffs also

LSU has more of a claim to that championship than Bama does on around 10 of their self claimed championships

List them. TIA.

At the end of the day this will be debated endlessly.

We can't get a third game to settle it and that sucks.

Of course it is. That's why they are a top ranked team.

And? If the system never specifically states that you can't be champs without a division title then you have no argument

All Bama championships before Bear Bryant that I researched are also claimed by other universities with Bama's claim never being the strongest

That very fluke is why we have a new system now. Because everyone knew it was a flawed system after that year. Pretty common knowledge Bama had no business being there

But y'all had Hillary as your coach who just kept bitching and bitching

List them. You just said LSU has more of a claim to a national championship that they lost by 21 and got shut out essentially at home & never finished a drive inside the 50 yard line than about 10 of the ones Bama actually claims.

Let's see them. TIA.

All 5 of them? 1941 is bullshite, but good luck finding a much stronger claim for the other 4.

But I don't really mind having shared championships in the early days before TV. Don't really mind having shared championships in more recent years either.
