Yeah, but man that was clearly LSU's year

Clearly not.

Real competitors want to play the best to be the best. Beta males would have wanted to play Oklahoma State that year.

LSU won in Bama's backyard, Bama won in LSU's neighborhood...needed a rematch of the rematch to be sure.

Bammer is always demanding rematches. They feel entitled to mulligans and moral victories.

And they'll petition the NCAA to not let the game count just like in 2013.

Spoken like a true bammer

We beat y'all on yalls home field. We had nothing to prove.

Maybe every game that goes into OT should be played a second time, because the first time was "too close"

Pretty sure LSU would have had to play a NCG regardless of opponent. Would they have had a better chance vs OKSU? Are you admitting that Bama was better than the Cowboys

Alabama was neither a division nor conference champion
They did not deserve to be on the field

This makes the game nullified by any true believer in a true college championship

No. It was a pretty weak year for college football. They had a great defense, but the offense would eliminate them from being in that category.

GTFO - LSU played 4 games against teams that finished in the top 6 in the BCS. They beat #2 Bama in Tuscaloosa. They beat #3 Oregon by 13 in Dallas. They beat #3 Arkansas by 24 points. They beat #16 West Virginia by 26 in Morgantown. They beat #17 Florida by 30. they beat #19 Auburn by 35. They beat #12 Georgia by 32 in Atlanta. Oh, and by the way, they scored more points than Alabama that season finishing 17th in the nation.

The BCS was set up to put the 2 best teams against each other. It did that.

The cockiness of LSU fans going into that game was downright hilarious.

Why?

Our team was sick.

So? Still doesn't change the fact that it was a weak year in college football.

Deflecting isn't a good look. But see pvillegurus post above for the only needed response

One bad game by our team.

We split the series though.

No telling who wins best out of 5.

Who was to say Oklahoma State was not better than Bama

More deserving for sure was Oklahoma State

Should've been a split title imo. If those teams played 10 times it would've been 5-5.

Exactly.

I disagree. The game on 1/9 was closer to reality than the game on 11/5

Well of course Bama fan thinks 1/9 is closer to reality.

A Bowl game is a glorified exhibition

That month off sure changes a lot of things for both universities especially when Bama played one less game and knew before the game they had a chance at the BCS

To me that was not right considering LSU was playing for the SEC Championship
