Thing is, is that it was enough to beat SC. It was Monday night as well.

We actually hit to score runs in the game. We didn't get gifted 9 walks, 2 runs.

SCar is a worse hitting team than us, going by the average for the year. They were ou hit last night as well.

This will not end well. I doubt he gets to umpire anymore post season games.

I'd like to see the last 20 games he's umped for and talk to each manager if they felt "he" was part of the game.

It's unfortunate in one of the biggest games all year he was such a factor. A good umpire isn't talked about.

Either side you're on, you're on drugs if you think that was an acceptable job from him.

All he needs to do now is call Houston Nutt for tips on what is next for Ol Perry Tight Wad Costello. I like what ctothevrazorback said last night. He pussed out and didn't want to call that final strike on us because he knew how bad he fricked us all night and the game was already in hand.

I agree with your assessment. The ump sucked balls. The strike zone was different for both teams and the commentators mentioned the strike zone more than once.

USC players saw it too. Many times they wouldn't swing until they had 2 strikes. Not faulting them, that's what they should have done.

I listened to the game on Sirius college radio and the announcers were getting pissed. On that 3rd strike call against Fic when it was way outside, the color guy said

'I've just gotta say something, this is getting ridiculous. The catcher set up a foot outside the plate. That's not a strike.'

other guy - 'Not even CLOSE'

Yeah seriously, I mean who acts like that when their team gets screwed?

Oh yeah, any sports fan on the planet.

No doubt, I thought Costello called the worst game I've ever seen at that level and it all started in USC's 1st inning. I don’t even remember who was batting for the Hogs at the time but the USC pitcher threw a great pitch on the outside corner but it was called a ball.

I commented at that time that if the umpire calls bullshite like that the rest of the night it would be tough for the Hogs to win.

I totally agree with you and I hate Arkansas. The top half of the inning that SC walked for the winning run, the Arkansas batter struck out to end the inning on two terrible strike calls. It was infuriating to watch the umpire totally frick up a great game.

It's pretty bad if the xm guys were on our side. I listened to the pregame an a previous game on xm and they were all over the SC cock.

I had to watch that shite. He deserves everything bad that happens to him. Perry Costello is a cheater and took money. You don't frick it up that much, that many times.

Key to the game right here. Both teams played well and it was a tight game regardless. USC recognized the issues with the strike zone and adjusted. Arkansas did not.

That's coaching. That's why Tanner is the best in the business.

That's the point. The "issues" with the strike zone.

Take off your fricking cock filled shades.

He called just about everything a strike on us and the opposite against yall.

It's called human judgment and error. Pitch 6 was an inch from being a ball or strike and it was going 92 MPH. If you want perfect accuracy, have computers be umpires. That was not a terribly bad call and you know it. USC was the better team and won. Gripe about the fact that your pitcher had the bases loaded, not that he walked a guy on a borderline call.

You really think that umpire gave a frick who won? Unless he is in some mob gambling, he gets paid either way.

The umpiring pretty much sucked for both teams. The Pig pichers were getting strikes called in areas that the USCe pitchers weren't. And certainly vice versa.

The ump was an equal opportunity sucky ump.

Because you acted like we lost on one bad call. Had you actually watched the game, you would know better.
