No.

Don't really know what you are talking about.

I love the offensive strategies with the BBCOR bats now, at least when there is good pitching.

Reminds me of the pro's when you've got 2 great pitchers going at it.

Get a man on any way you can and get him into scoring position and get a timely hit. Be aggressive and jump on them early.

It's an MLB managers philosophy now.

There was an Arky fan on here saying that he couldn't stand college baseball because the offenses were gimmick.

He was also saying that he was an MLB fan.

Ya'll should have done what Warren Morris did...take it out of the hands of the ump and ratchet that MF out of the park!

This could have been a ball or a strike,..but...

If only homeruns were still possible in Omaha

They really do need to move those fences in some, it's ridiculously stupid.

9 HR's last year at TD Ameritrade compared to 32 the year before in Rosenblatt. The new bats play a factor but it's more the ballpark than the bats.

I'd guess there have probably been around 6-7 this year so far.

I will agree the lack of a home run option makes the games much less exciting. You should have a "decent opportunity" to win with one swing of the bat,

That option simply has been eliminated with halfway decent pitching and these soft bats.

Give me gorilla ball!!

I hate these bats for the most part.

But for Omaha, combining these bats with the dimensions of TD Ameritrade, was an AWFUL decision.

Some MLB fans refuse to accept college baseball as "real baseball" since aluminum is what the bats are made out of.

Some MLB fans bring snobbery to the penultimate.

I was watching the game with my little brother and his friend and they both play college baseball. We were pulling for USC since we have some really good friends there and I lived in Charleston for years and love the area. That being said we were going crazy over the home plate umpire and it did seem to favor USC and directly affect the outcome of the game. Both of those kids were commenting on how it changes your approach at the plate on both sides of the fence and how detrimental it was to be in Arkansas's position. This is just an observation from a third party.

Pitch 6 is clearly low! The graphic is bigger than a baseball. The pitch was below the batters' knees!

Good thread ham.

The umpire was terrible. He started screwing us the very first inning. He caused Bax to throw more pitches than he needed.

That ump has been run out of the minor leagues for his shitty calls behind the plate, and it looks like college baseball needs to do the same.

His calls delivered two runs to SCar and rewarded them for leaving the bat on their shoulder.

As shitty as the ump was, two runs from the Arkansas offense shouldn't be enough to overcome South Carolina no matter how bad the calls were.

I am very familiar with this as an LSU fan.

Arkansas baseball still has a lot to be proud of this season.
