Oregon would do ok in the SEC, but their style has always struggled in close games. Oregon blows out garbage better than anyone, but anytime someone hits them in the mouth, they really have a hard time of it.

Stanford would be the much better SEC team as currently constructed. They don't beat you with style, but they have serious teeth, and they do everything well. Plus, they beat Oregon last year.

Na. They play a smash mouth type football and if they were in the SEC , they'd be trying to beat Bama and LSU at their own game with far less talent. Oregon would be difficult to prepare for with only one week.

he's not wrong on that. But other teams shouldn't be taking credit for another team's championships.

This is 100% True! 99% of these schools are Jokes! No one claims their own school, but claim which ever school is hot that year! I can remember when everyone here was sucking off Cam Newton & Auburn. Funny, the last 2 years you treat them like step-children.

Weak Clemson destroys 2 of of best programs back2back. ( LSU & UGA ) Louisville toys with Florida and so does Miami two weeks ago!

Kirk is talking about this year Oregon team! ( not 2010 or 2011 ) HELLO!!! Anyone home?

No one gives a crap about the SEC but the people who live in SEC country. You can't make the entire country suck on you, because you have that covered, with both hands!

FYI, Tennessee did nothing for our confidence. That outcome would have been the same with any team from any conference on that day!

Oregon could compete on a one game basis. Doubt they could run the table in the SEC though

If I ever see a statement like this again... You think that Texas A&M would have done away with that hogwash.

The SEC is good, but the gap that you guys think exists doesn't. Watch some more football.

LSU lost by 1 point on a game ending fg. Destroying a team is what LSU did to Oregon. You made fun of the LSU team that shite on your face , boy.

If you really believe that, you don't know football ,period. Tenn is one of the least talented SEC team. Hell ole miss has more talent than tenn.

Oregon is Texas A&M 2.0

They are a more complete team

A&M 2012 was NEVER held to 14 points in a game that went to overtime, and they played defenses far better than Stanford's was.

Oregon only scored 34 against a Big 12 defense last year...A&M scored 34 in 3 quarters.

For the life of me, name just ONE? Outside of Bama there is no team!

Can someone tell me what do Scam Newton ( 2010 ) or LSU of ( 2011) has to do with this team of 2013?

So many idiots on here can't see that Scam is gone! LSU of 2011 is gone. LSU or Auburn can no longer make a simple BCS bowl game. I witness LSU getting blown 21 to Zero in the Natty. I witness them get arse whipped by Clemson in the shite bowl last year. This is what you call elite?

I witness Clemson pimp slap UGA three weeks ago. I witness Louisville beat up on Florida in the BCS. I witness Miami destroy Florida two weeks ago. So this is your Top Tier that you are referring to? Clemson is running the SEC from what I witness. Ask LSU.

When Stanford is the best opponent on your schedule you probably shouldn't talk shite about conference strength. The Ducks are a gimmick offense that would be lucky to be 3rd place in the SEC West on a semi-regular basis.

So the five SEC teams that have won the BCS should be offended by the other 9 -- 7, really, because all of them won in the 12 team era too -- teams piggybacking. Fair enough. The one Pac 10 team should also be offended. Ditto the one Big 10 team and the one ACC team (Miami doesn't count) and the two Big 12 teams.

The SEC: where just over half the conference hadn't won a BCS title. Catchy, right?

Has the rant forgotten that West Virginia defeated Baylor 70-63 last season? Yes, I know that Texas A&M and Oregon were more relevant last season and now, but that doesn't mean their offenses were that much better.

Hilarious you blow off the two head to heads where you got curb stomped by LSU and Auburn because those aren't this year in the same breath that you talk about Clemson beating LSU last year in a game where half our team was trying not to get hurt before they declared for the draft.

ole miss is significantly better. Add a&m. Georgia and fla are better. Iow, the overall strength of the conference hasn't diminished.

LSU of 2011 is gone.
lsu was a 10 win team in the toughest division of the toughest conference and is even better this year. Lsu hasn't "gone" anywhere.

by an sec team lsu beat in tuscaloosa. Not a good argument kid

lsu wasn't the same team after the bama loss. Any reasonable fan should see this. Clemson didn't beat last year's scar, georgia, fla, a&m or bama in the bowl game. Moreover, it remains to be seen how good georgia is this season. Your argument sucks

Look, the sec is king. Look at the overall h2h and bowl records against non-sec teams. It's an objective fact and has been maintained since the late 90's. Sorry you don't like it. You wouldn't look so insecure and butthurt if your team had won against the best when you had the chance. Heck, that goes for any non-sec team.

Oregon doesn't even play a down Trojans team this year. Oregon's schedule is even more pathetic. Playing this year's Texas A&M and LSU is tougher than just playing Stanford. Even if you threw U.S.C. in there, it wouldn't make a difference. U.S.C. sucks.

You can't be serious.
Texas A&M scored a garbage touchdown versus LSU last season to make the final score 24-19. Yes, there was no need for overtime because Texas A&M couldn't tie the score.

Oklahoma's defense sucked. Their secondary had good rankings, but that's it. You should check their defensive stats. Furthermore, Kansas State was the Big 12 champion last season. Texas A&M played Big Game Bob and lead 14-13 at halftime.
