What Ole Miss fans try to do when they know State fans are correct about their pathetic football team.

Is this a Grindfest thread?

You sound very intelligent. Please go back to the echo chamber known as Elite Dawgs with your incoherent, illogical, and inaccurate statements.

I'm ready to fight.
Which one of you Ole Miss fans are ready for my fists?

What is it? Can you not comprehend what you read? Let me s-l-o-w it down for you. If Nutt had accomplished at Ole Miss the exact accomplishments as Mullen has at State he would still be the OM coach. You must have taken Intermediate Reading Comp 101 at the flagship with Jerell Powe.

How can you call the OM football team pathetic without also using that adjective to describe State's football team? Both schools have had similar records the past two years.

I never said we weren't. Fact is both have been fairly pathetic throughout the last 40 years.

First, it's impossible to comprehend incoherent sentences, and illogical arguments. Your last six posts in this thread alone contain glaring grammatical errors. I have a strong suspicion that every post you have ever made on the rant is riddled with grammatical errors.
Second, you created a straw man argument by arguing that Houston Nutt would still be at Ole Miss had he achieved similar results as Dan Mullen has at State. I only brought up Houston Nutt to point out the fact that he took Ole Miss to back to back Cotton Bowls, yet we still fired him 20 games after he accomplished something more impressive than Dan Mullen has accomplished during his entire tenure at State.
My initial argument was that Ole Miss fans have greater expectations than State fans do regarding what their program should do to be considered successful. I emphasized how Dan Mullen has done nothing that would be considered successful outside of beating Ole Miss four out of five times. You argued that Mullen taking State to four straight bowl games was the reason he was considered successful. I argued that State wouldn't have even been bowl eligible for two of those years had he not beaten Ole Miss in the final game. If State doesn't beat Ole Miss in 2011 or 2013, his records for the last three seasons are 5-7, 7-5, 5-7. That would give Dan three losing seasons in five years.
In summation, Dan Mullen being considered successful by State fans is completely reliant on him beating Ole Miss 4 out of 5 times.
I look forward to your response.

My response is you are a real bad man shooting birds on the Internet. I'm done with your Mr. Internet English Professor fool self. Anyone who studies grammar on a sports message board, well that speaks for itself. That is my response.

Because he started that stretch by losing to Jacksonville St and capped it by getting destroyed by Kentucky and La Tech. You REALLY think we would have held on to Mullen in the same situation? If your demands and expectations were as high as you pretend they are, you would have fired him after 4-8 when the problems, mainly on defense, were obvious. Yet Tyrone stayed -- and the rest is history.
For all the bitching people do about Mullen, he does a pretty damn good job of stepping back, identifying weaknesses, and finding ways to improve on them.
As far as your hypotheticals -- LOL.

That was an amazing retort.
Welcome to the rant.

I actually just went back and looked at some of your posts on this thread. If I were you I would chill on the grammar stuff Bro. Capitalizing no in the middle of a sentence and using to at the end of a sentence, not exactly grammatically correct. I'm not saying I don't have tons of mistakes, hell it is a sports message board not a term paper, but I'd clean up in my own backyard before trying to act so smart.

You had four grammatical errors in a post calling me out about grammatical errors. Seriously

Clean up your own backyard. You want me to check some more? I think not. Hell, this is stupid. I've already said it once, and I'm done with this. Just shoot me another bird and finish it.

For the record, I love you. Jesus loves you. God loves you. I shouldn't point out the splinter in your eye while not noticing the log in my own. That was the best point you made in the thread. Thank you.
