This is about LSU football, so leave the rest of the SEC out of it.

Then you should of posted this on Tiger Rant not SEC Rant?

It wouldn't be your first visit over there because I know I've seen a few threads you've started/posted in

Meh. Up until 3 weeks ago the rest of the country could only compare themselves to Bama.

I wanted more impartiality. I don't think this topic would be received well over there, but I have had a few pleasant experiences on the Tiger Rant. Thanks.

LSU is in a solid run where 10-2 is an expected result at the minimum i think, with serious runs at the title to be expected every few years. Anything less is underachieving for the great talent and resources of the school.

I'm not sure Coach Miles is a guy you could expect to take it to the next level however as he seems to be too undisciplined and too prone to some head scratching losses.

No arguments here. Although most of us hope Cam can rub off on him a little more next year. If we get 2 or 3 of the juniors back we'll be right back in the thick of things. If they all leave we'll have some growing pains and be looking at 9-3 or 10-2 again.

Alabama could easily not win another national title under Saban. It's hard to do, and requires a lot of luck sometimes.

I don't think anyone's standard should be a national title.

I think LSU's standard is 10 regular season wins. If we exceed that, then we're looking at an SEC West title, most likely.

To Be In The Hunt. Straight from the AD's mouth. I don't find that unreasonable.

Same as AU. Good season and then a bunch of average to bad ones.

Media bias?

Alabama was head and shoulders above EVERY team including OSU in the three years we played in the SECCG.

And in case you haven't realized, Alabama also was in the midst of 3 schools that all fielded the best team in the history of their program during our current run. LSU got all their titles when the SEC was a shitbasket minus 2011

Some of 'em care about LSU standards for the same reason some LSU fans care about our coach.

They need to care more about this; it would improve the thread greatly:

Bama , in the regular season, has lost to its highest rates opponent for 4 straight years. Yes there is media bias when bama gets in over team with a far better resume.

Dude, pull your head out of your arse. Bc Bama was shite in those seasons, that means the entire SEC was shite? You're a fricking retard.
