Bama will have the #1 defense its not debatable. Doesn't matter who brings back what.

Saban's scheme will always produce the top defense in the SEC. As long as most of the teams in the SEC run the ball. Bama stops the run affects the QB on 3rd down.

Bama's had the # 1 defense 4 yrs in a row. I don't see that changing.

So we go from top 25 scoring D and the only defense to hang in with Bama/LSU to 10? Lol

Just out of curiosity, where did that put Tennessee in the SEC (if you know)?

I think he will get a shot to start along with Logan. Josh Downs is gonna be a SR, I think, but he's battled some injuries and may not be as consistent as some others. Worse case Freak is #3 in the DT rotation, which means alot of PT anyway. Everyone thinks hes gonna shine, he had his moments this year, but Imma hold off on the praise till he does it consistently. I expect him to do well though.

MSU should be pretty damn good. They always seem to have good front 7s, usually led by some good LBs.

Thanks. Although our defense probably wasn't as good as it ma have looked due to teams not needing to score much to beat Tennessee, I don't see the 2012 team being much worse than 7 unless the new DC completely changes things.
