No, we just really don't want you..lol
Would have much rather taken an ACC school, or Oklahoma... but we got stuck with the third wheel. Just enjoy the cake.. we only came to dance with A&M

GCCC, pretty good hoops and baseball, great road trip. They could use current Bear Rebels and immediately start a football program

So they did something they have never done before. They talked to a recruit from a rival school and gave him immunity to tell his tale.

Why do so many Ole Miss fans think immunity is a new thing? The NCAA has used it forever. Hell, when State went on probation in the early 2000s, Ole Miss offensive lineman Doug Buckles was given immunity to testify against State. It's nothing new and certainly not "something they have never done before."

Clearly you do not understand the protected cow concept.

SEC schools may be cash cows but nothing stops the NCAA from going after them.

To be a NCAA protected school you can not be a SEC school

Quite true. Just so you know, it's Gulf Coast College now. They removed "community" from their name a year or two ago. Too many negative connotations.

Sure they will, UNC is a protected cash cow for the NCAA . As is Kentucky, Bama, Ohio St

Bama has had 3 years' worth of bowl bans in the last 22 years and has been on probation for 10 of the last 22 seasons. The combined punishment history for Tennessee, Georgia, and LSU is less than what Alabama has gotten in the past 25 years.

Kentucky got the death penalty in the 50s, then got a two-year post season ban and a one-year tv ban in the 90s.

Ohio St just had a bowl ban (in an undefeated season, no less) for players trading merchandise for free tattoos. They've been on probation for 6 of the last 10 seasons.

But carry on, just saying [insert current winning team] never gets punished because they are 'protected' by their NCAA because they are a cash cow. You do realize, of course, that if they were to slam Alabama football or Kentucky basketball right now, some other program would step up and fill the void and generate the same money that's already flowing in, right?

I was thinking South Alabama deserves a look considering they beat msstate in football, basketball and baseball. They already have similar size student body that is growing... nice endowment. Plus they would be another big cat mascot. Exactly what we need is some jaguars.

Agreed. They can keep passing the blame all they want, but the end result will be the same. It's just the scapegoat that keeps changing in their narrative. Trying to save face.

Something like 25 Major NCAA violations, no biggie

Major...like an assistant coach letting a player sleep on his couch after player got in a fight with his stepdad.

Major...like a fellowship of Christian athletes giving rides to and from Ole Miss football games.

Major infractions...the same infractions that get Bo Davis at Bama a handsome severance package of 320,000 dollars for services rendered on his way out the door, and is never once tied to nick saban.

TRUTH, JUSTICE, AND THE NCAA WAY

Didnt Freeze knowingly attend a meeting with a recruit and booster? That's pretty serious. Also, we only know what ole miss has told us about the 2nd Noa. Considering how much your media lies it wouldn't surprise me if it was much worse. Remember "only a couple to do with football and all the previous staff not Freeze"?

So, what you're saying is, Ole Miss is the Hillary Clinton of the SEC!
