so you only experience gravity by jumping up and down?

That right there is going to be important in choosing the best 4 teams after Conference Championship games.

The best part is this:

quote:

Dye also said that the he feels addition of Rice to the committee could make the selection process less about Xs and Os and more about personal relationships.

Because I'm sure every football playin' member on that Committee is going to pick teams based on nothing but the "X's and O's".

Aren't there a couple of DI coaches like Leach who never played? Hell, did Chip Kelly play ball?

I don't believe Hugh Freeze did either. But he minored in coaching and sports administration. So he must not be qualified to coach football.

That should be brought up to him. Would be interesting to get his take on it, especially after their media exchanges a couple of years ago.

She's been provost of a major university. How's that any different then the Presidents who run the NCAA to begin with?

Patrick Fain is just upset and worried that the little girl from B'ham is all grown up and is going to let her UA fandom shine through....

The rest of what Dye said.

"I love Condoleezza Rice and she's probably a good statesman and all of that but how in the hell does she know what it's like out there when you can't get your breath and it's 110 degrees and the coach asks you to go some more?"

Dye also said that the he feels addition of Rice to the committee could make the selection process less about Xs and Os and more about personal relationships.

"That goes back to politics. Which one she likes the best. Which one's the smoothest talker. The game is played on the field."
