Sorry I disagree, if Alabama had another great coach besides Nick Saban who had Alabama on this current streak there would not be be near the hate. That will diminish as the years go by after he retires. That said granted I am older but I remember LSU fans hating Bama for years just because Alabama was so dominate over them but my family who actually reside in the state of Alabama until recently LSU was an afterthought. This game is seen as the biggest obstacle in Alabama's path to a national title period.

I've been going to Tuscaloosa for the LSU-Alabama game since the mid 90's and our reception has gotten more and more hostile with every passing visit among the younger crowd. And not just in a "big game" sort of way.

Check back with us in about 20 years, but we just aren't looking for any new rivals at this time. I hear aTm is in the market for a new rival. Or maybe you could try Arky again.

that doesn't bother me though, I have no arrogance regarding having g to study the history of a particular school nor be an alumnus of that school to be a fan. If you do that's your deal but does not effect me in any way. I have been to only one game in BDS and one game at Legion. My ties are through my father and its something we share.

Even in that link the Bama fans are saying that they don't hate Lsu and not really a rival.
