First thing is WE didn't poison shite. One careless individual did that shite not the whole fan base and program.
Second it has been a very big game for both programs since 2007 not 2008 but not a rival.
Third thing is I don't think that LSU is our rival but we are their rival because most of us pull for them to win when they aren't playing us. But I don't think most LSU fans pull for us when we aren't playing them.

So, most Bama fans will be pulling for LSU against Florida and Georgia. Are you people really that stupid?
Fortunately, your Bama alumni in charge of SEC scheduling are smarter than your fanbase.

the aggies luck into a transcendent QB and have 1 good season all the sudden people think they will suddenly shake what they have consistently been for the last hundred years

Anything is possible...like the collective LSU fandom forgetting about their suckage prior to 2000.
We need to prove ourselves over a longer period than one year, but you must also concede that this could be the beginning of a resurgence.
Looking forward to going to LSU again.

Thus why there is a college gameplan and a full court. The nation cares far more about football and bball than they do about baseball.

Like the collective aggie fandom thinking the 90's is all LSU was pre-2000. We had a very good program from he 30's-80's and were 12th in all time wins when Saban was hired despite having just gone through a putrid 12 year period. LSU was, at worst, a top 15 program and in most cases a top 10 program in each of the 6 decades immediately preceding the 90's.

Sure anything could happen. I don't think Texas A&M is an Arkansas type team that has that same kind of glass ceiling that they are just never going to get past. But you are what you are and 1 season with one lucky player doesn't change that.

I mean ok but go to New York or Chicago or Washington D.C. or even other places that have had good programs like Miami and Los Angeles and see how much they care about college football.

Then why was AJ crying after the win last season?

Point is if there wasn't a demand for football and bball, neither of those would exist. You can hardly find college baseball on tv.

I never said college baseball was as big as either of those two, I was just pointing out that while you're throwing rocks from your glass house: college sports in general is highly regional that the majority of the sporting public has only a passing interest at best in. So trying to throw water on our baseball interest only makes you look like a hypocrite seeing how many people DGAF about any of it and are just worried about the NFL, LeBron/Kobe, etc.
