Yes, we do actually. Most of us for SEC west over east although I have nothing against UF or UGA etc... So I don't think it is stupid at all.

I guess you don't have to worry about cross-divisional games affecting your chances at Atlanta when you get to play Tennessee and Kentucky. Must be nice.

Careless? Did he accidently spill a bunch of herbicide because the lid wasn't on tight enough? Updyke is of you, just own up to it.

It is right now, But it wasn't when UT was strong. By the way this is the first time we have played UK since 09 I think. Remember schedules rotate. That schedule shite gets old, maybe yall should try and schedule UT and UK.

You're right, it does get old. Awfully convenient that you get these easy opponents in these so called "bridge" years where we're just sort of scheduling by the seat of our pants and the guy who is the head of that department for the SEC went to Alabama.

the aggies luck into a Heisman QB and have 1 good season; all of a sudden people think they will suddenly shake what they have consistently been for the last hundred years.
Fixed it for you, and yes.
Reasons why TAM transforms into a perennial power.
1. Left the shadow of UT by joining the SEC.
2. Looks to have a great coaching staff on both sides of the ball.
3. Heisman Trophy QB = improved recruiting program.
4. Starts to compete on an even basis with UT for in-state talent—the key.
If their recruiting classes can average at or near 3.5 stars for the next three years, they become a perennial challenger in the SEC West.

If you really want to know I said careless because he got caught (told on himself). I don't GAF about those trees. If someone is stupid enough to do something like that they are probably stupid enough to get caught and deserves to be caught.

Ok #1 Texas A&M has always recruited well and not done much with it
and #2 as someone who actually lives in Texas, this:

Left the shadow of UT
is laughable
as far as Sumlin yeah they had a good year last year and he is a good coach, but lets wait on crowning him the second coming just yet. And even if he is whose to say he sticks around or something happens a la Petrino or a myriad of other things.

For the most part LSU fans are the only ones that complain about it. There is nothing we as fans can do about it, and bitching at another fan on a message board surely don't help. Maybe yall can start scheduling UT and UK like I said earlier.

because we're the ones most negatively affected by it considering we get Florida and Georgia, hell even Fowler and Herbie were saying it's bullshite

Texas A&M has typically had a 3 star on average recruiting program with poor coaching for a long time.
I am talking about a full 1/2 star increase in talent with a good coaching staff and an SEC calling card for recruiting. TAM has never been in this situation before.
TAM is a lot like LSU before Saban resurrected their recruiting program when he came from Michigan St.

Dammit Bamatab I just cooled him off.

Sure, in the immediate past, I'm talking if you go back in their history. They have historically had no trouble recruiting.

Apples and oranges. I'm not saying they don't have potential to be better than they have been, I'm saying that people are getting carried away with this a little bit and I want to see them do it for a few years before i crown them. Not unreasonable.

Oh, I think he's got a couple more pages of bitching and moaning left in him.

I expect all the bitching about how LSU has been unfairly treated by their SEC schedule in comparison to Bama's will lead to a much fairer scheduling plan in the future.
At least LSU's fan base is not pretending to be fools by accepting it in silence.

Haven't you heard, the REC has complete control over the scheduling since the SEC is located in Birmingham? I'm afraid there's not much hope in a fairer schedule for LSU.
