Ole Miss will fight this with every available resource, all the way to the Scotus, and we will win.

Ole Miss has definitely gotten away with their fare share of illegal activities in recent years.

Who was the defensive lineman who couldn't even read or write? Last name was Powe, but I forget his first name

I have already mentioned Micheal Oher

If you have facts about a violation, email compliance@msstate.edu. If not, please don't slander these young men

That plus the upper classman can transfer with multi year bowl ban.

Ironically, Shea may never play in a bowl game in Oxford.

This sucks. The investigation getting drawn out for 4-5 yrs, then when the sanctions finally come down it'll be another 4-5 yrs while OM scavengers enough talent to field a somewhat competitive team.

2 year bowl ban and 25 scholarships is the high end of the spectrum. That's what the investigators are pushing for.

We are probably going to fight and want 1 year 15/3.

If we have sat back and not done anything to defend ourselves for 5 years and don't have anything to fight back with for "our day in court" the administration has been talking about, then we are ridiculously incompetent. I can't believe that. We have to have something up our sleeve or we would have fought harder over the investigation.

I think you are going to be sorely disappointed, the administration will just want this to end at this point.

OM is effectively on probation this year without it being official, the longer it drags out the worse it is regardless of what the actual penalty is.

I honestly don't give 2 fricks what you think. All that matters is the COI and you have no idea, nor anyone else on this site on how that will go down.

I didn't know the investigative branch of the NCAA pushed or even offered their input on the penalties that they think COI should be hand down?

I just think the way the NCAA handled this whole thing was ridiculous. Stretching out an investigation for 3-4 yrs is fricking insane, no program would come out clean in something like that. And then for them to re-open the investigation after issuing the 1st NOA shows incompetence on their part.

Meanwhile, UNC breezes through March Madness and we all watch them hoisting trophies and cutting nets while media doesn't utter a damn word about their NCAA investigation.

This should enrage other college sports fans.

Lightfoot, Franklin & White are the best of the best, they will have your people ready and properly equipped to defend your case when your day comes. OleMiss may have bungled some shite along the way (who wouldn't in a +4 yr investigation?), but they were competent enough to retain the best attorneys.

Made me want to puke watching Roy Williams, the UNC AD & President celebrate. I didn't watch every game during the playoff, but I don't recall hearing one word from the TV announcers about their investigation.

Honestly, it should have royally pissed off the NCAA too. I mean, WTF?

To be fair, the people on this site have been a lot more accurate than the Ole Miss insiders pretty much every step of the way

That leads me to believe that OM wasn't being forthright with the investigators. Furthermore, the offer of immunity to opposing players is almost exclusive to situations where they are trying to catch somebody in a lie. That is based solely on inference, but time will tell.

The investigation was completed until Laremy Tunsil got into a fight with his step Dad. He gives 50+ hours of testimony. First NOA comes out. Investigation calms down.

Draft night happens. Investigation reopens. Nothing, exactly nothing, is found on Tunsil. To save face NCAA goes to players OM recruited but didn't get. Then second NOA comes out.

I think that's speculation on your part. Regardless, we will find out.

After all that's come out you're still convinced this is some baseless witch hunt.
