Like Saban taking over for Shula in 2007 desperate?

In rough order:

1) Chip Kelly
2) Gus
3) Rich Rod
4) Freeze
5) Mullen
(3,4,5 interchangeable)
6) Jim Harbaugh
7) James Franklin (relatively small buyout)
8) Todd

Big Risk possible Big Reward

9) Petrino (will never happen, Foley would resign first)
10) Mark Stoops
11) Kliff
12) Cutcliffe

I don't really see Cutcliffe as a "big risk".. he seems pretty damn close to a sure-fire thing.

Good choices. I would add Shaw from Stanford to my wish list, too, were I needing to make a choice.

If this were still the 80s, Dana would get laid so much with that balding pattern.

Mark Stoops just to watch the kitty meltdown.

There will be no hires from the Urban coaching tree- No Mullen, no Doc, etc.

My dream? Chip Kelly.

I wouldn't mind Freeze, but I think is 0% chance that he leaves Miss. Same goes with Gus.

Patterson for sure. Harbrough.

Rich Rodrigues is being floated around along with Freeze, but I just don't see either. I think Rich is a great coach, but there are character questions.

From OC I would take Chad Morris, but I doubt they would take any coordinators without a bull gator rebellion.

$4 mil to coach at one of the top FB schools in the U.S.? That won 2 NC's in the last decade? That can recruit just about anywhere in the country?

C'mon man, think.

I am pretty sure he can't leave for another coordinator job without a huge unreasonable buyout.

It wouldn't be to be coordinator.

And Dabo? No

And again. We don't want Mullen, so stop the MSt crap.

And Dana is rumored to have a lot of Petrino type extra-curricular activities, so I don't think is a good fit.
