We should have fired the loser after that Georgia Southern debacle.

I think Dabo Sweeney @ Clemson is also a potential hire who would be pretty comfortable in SEC country.

I'd honestly rather burn the stadium to the ground than have that SOB. He's got all of one ACC Championship, and that was a pretty bad year all around for the ACC if I remember correctly. Not to mention he makes Muschamp look like a Rhodes Scholar when it comes to saying meatheaded quotes

Dabo is a excellent recriuter, runs a clean program, and is a proven commodity as a HC, winning at just below a .700 clip in a power conference. You could do much, much worse

Think about that for a minute.

Dabo will never win a National Championship. Ever.

Seriously, would you want the guy when Saban retires?

Patterson sucked his first two years in the Big 12.

I"d give Jim Harbaugh's agent a call in the morning. Couldn't hurt.

Because the way he got fired at USF. And he's not a big enough name.

I bet he still has a roll-a-dex of contacts.

Plus, you can't do any worse. Like I said, wanted him for AU.

I think he's a really good coach, but it would never happen.

I'm just glad I made it to 5 pages with a pick that was somewhat legit.

Merlins, there you go.

Dave Cutcliffe

David Cutcliffe resulted in the 4 win season he had followed by some of the worst teams in Ole Miss history. Thank heavens for Ed Orgeron's recruiting to build us back to something semi-decent. Then the ship that Nutt was sailing crashed right into the freaking iceberg.

David Cutcliffe had some of the most talented teams at Ole Miss in 50 years and did quite literally nothing with them.

That being said, I would love for UF to go this direction.

Geez, you OM posters are seriously bitter about ex-coaches. Cutcliffe, Nutt, etc...y'all need to let go.

Also, football has been played in the last decade. Just a reminder.

Lol Kelly. Florida needs to get Marshall's HC. The shite about taking HC's from the NFL needs to stop.

I'm suprised the Grud hasn't come up yet, surely some Arky/UT posters can give up their insider Gruden contacts they had during both of their coaching searches.
