No descent coach will go near that dumpster fire right now. They will have to go with another coordinator-type coach who will take Florida's 3-4 million and laugh all the way to the bank

I will add I would love the opportunity to be Florida's next coach. I have shaken Muffin's hand several times and feel like he has passed some of his awesomeness to me

You would have to be desperate to take that job right now.

Not really. It's a top 5 job in America for a competent coach. The pay is great and the expectations will be as realistic as you can ask for following the last 2 seasons. It's a great opportunity.

Dead serious: Florida needs to start courting Dave Cutcliffe post-haste. The man can flat-out coach and, well, the last time UF got a Duke coach, it worked out kinda well for them.

There is talent too, especially on the defensive side. A good coach could walk in and have a winning season.

bull shite. the new coach will receive about 15 million dollars before anyone passes judgement. PLUS, he'll look great following the present hothead.

Why? If anything this the perfect time to take over.

Who do I want? Chip Kelly
Who do I think we end up with? Todd Graham

These kind of statements are funny. Coaches have huge egos and love money. They aren't afraid of challenges like going to UF in a down year and having some of the most fertile recruiting territory available to them without having to step on a plane.

Mississippi State fan trying reassure himself they aren't losing their GOAT coach this offseason.

Mullen to Florida. It's obvious at this point.
