Moved to The Upstate about 3 years ago (1 hr from Greenville). We like it. Schools suck. Lots of Clemson orange.
Almost nobody from our neighborhood is from The South, much less, SC. Most are from MD, PA, OH & MI.
There are jobs everywhere. Last chamber meeting I went to, companies had 4...

Only care about AU football. We are all-time 13-15 rank, NIL is not gonna change that. We may jockey one spot higher or lower, but that's our pecking order.

Upstate SC. Freezing or raining every day. Got 9 holes Christmas Eve, and basically nothing. Club is so wet, they went to Par 3/cart path only. Got a couple in after work yesterday. Pouring again. Bunkers are swimming pools. Maybe mid-late Feb here.

Work in HR, but I have 20 years in operations before being asked to be in HR. It's absolutely nothing like you think. My generalist handles all the tactical stuff. Headcount and cost are all I deal with. I enjoy it immensely...

Retirement community in Upstate SC. Mostly, OSU, MI, Penn St, very few SEC.
If I leave the community, prob 75% Clemson, 20% gamecocks, 5% UGA.
Lived most of my life in Baldwin County and would say it was 50/50 au v bama. ...

Not OT rich, but spoke with 3 dealers this weekend. Would not budge off the price when I said I was paying cash. This was for a 20k "used" 2022 Hyundai. Guess they only want 72-84 months @ 9%. ...
