I said: "There are people to be praised in this story but the lying hypocrites aren't those people."

And you responded with this:

Are you intellectually and/or ethically challenged?

The most homophobic people in this country are young and middle-aged black males (especially from urban areas), but for SOME reason they largely get a pass.

The problem with propaganda is, it's a lie.

You can say great things about a homosexual, but try denouncing it and watch the buck shots start flying.

He's gay OH THATS SO SWEET.

He's a homosexual backward pervert and he was looking at my cock like it was a ateak

Oh how dare you mean bavkwoids hick.

Lying Hypocrites. If they said anything about him that wasn't completely supportive of his lifestyle they're a lying hypocrite. Their actions of not outing him or saying anything publicly and yet making comments about him make them hypocrites.

You have to completely accept every single thing about the person's actions, otherwise you're a lying hypocrite in your eyes. Is that about right?

What would a person that kept their teammate's secret about his homosexuality, even if they didn't agree with it, have to do to make them not a hypocrite?

I'm just coming from personal experience. The idea of homosexuality can repulse me, but if I support my homosexual friend, am I a hypocrite in your eyes? Would I have to participate in some sort of educational program to make it less gross to me to make me not a hypocrite?

That fact that they said it was gross or whatever they said in private doesn't make them a hypocrite for supporting Michael Sam in his decision to come out.

It just seems like people are all or nothing. You either love gay sex and support Michael Sam and you're okay or you don't like gay sex and support Michael Sam and you're a hypocrite.

It's all or nothing.

Who in the hell are you to call anyone homophobic?

Because you think to dumb azz men being perverts is cool does everyone else have to think like you?

So you are God phobic then right? And ten commandment phobic.

You see how stupid that is?

I see *lots* of stupid in this thread but will refrain from pointing out where I see it, cuz its not worth the time. It's probably not where you are wanting me to see it though.

I'm not anyone, but I did say the most homophobic group as a whole I've ever encountered are young and middle aged black males. Black culture is VERY against homosexuality.

Nobody has to think like me. Doesn't change the fact that the homophobic place I've ever been are high school and college locker rooms. I wont even get into the endless social commentary on this subject, much of it from famous black men, saying the same thing I'm saying.

quote:

So you are God phobic then right? And ten commandment phobic.

I don't call people things like "****" and don't treat people differently based on how they live. So no, I don't have a "phobia" of a group of people.

Ah so the answer is yes to both. When you get around to doing anything other than working out your own personal issues and actually pay attention to what's being said and discussed you might actually start making cogent statements, replies, and arguments that have at least some tangential relationship with what's actually been said by others.

Until then.. tell us again how you're repulsed by gays but have somehow found it within your ability to support Sam, I don't think you've stated that enough. Maybe on the fourth, fifth, or fiftieth telling you'll have finally dealt with whatever is bothering you.

FWIW, I've had quite enough of your idiocy here as well. Tell us about your experiences and thoughts once more so we can be enthralled, too.

Plenty of people in this country still find homosexuality morally repulsive.

The media and politicians have made it their business to demonize these people into being scared to say anything publicly anymore.

Just believing Christianity makes you scum in the eyes of media.

Plenty of people in 1860 were morally repulsed by the idea of free blacks.

Plenty of people in 1930 were morally repulsed by interracial marriage and condoms.

Plenty of people in 1960 were morally repulsed by rock music.

Etc.

Waters made a choice.

Sam has no choice in his sexual orientation.

I consider Water's choice the more worthy of disdain.
