The only real splash hires left are getting guys who are coming back from the NFL ala Saban or Harbaugh which isn't an every year thing. Out of all the big jobs that might open in the next three years- USCw, maybe LSU, maybe Texas, probably Georgia, maybe Auburn- only one of those jobs is going to get the only splash hire on the map (Chip Kelly). If that isn't a sobering thought for elite programs facing coaching changes I don't know what is.
