Maybe... Maybe not. Do you want to wrestle hulk hogan? Box mike Tyson? Coach head to head in the same division as saban?

Has to be said

I don't think that would matter, LSU comes calling and you're gonna listen.

You just don't know much about the newspaper business, which is fine. But if you think The Advocate printed a story like that without checking sources you're very naïve. LSU is The Advocate's bread and butter, and they wouldn't bite that hand without knowing full well what they are saying holds water.

Miles knew he was in trouble after the Arkansas loss. Watch his press conference. The reason Rabalais took so long putting this out is most likely because the editors had him check sources front, back and sideways.

the winning-est coach in LSU's history will not be fired after this season......even if a large portion of the fan base thinks he should be.

Irrelevant. Doesn't matter whether Miles has lost the fans or not. It does matter if LSU is unhappy with him, which is what the article states.

I would be SHOCKED if Miles got fired at the end of the season.

Yeah, that's kind of apparent.

I posted back in early October and told you all that this could happen. I was right and Malzahn will be in hot water too.

Honestly, the only job that I think LSU has to really compete with is Southern Cal. Not worried about mizzou, South Carolina, Miami, etc

People forget that Saban coached at LSU. tGOAT. He won a title at LSU.

I agree LSU will pick over Mizzou, and USCe for Head Coach, but USCw is open, Georgia as well as Texas may very well be open.

It isn't just the Head Coach, it is assistants also.

He won't lose his job this year, but I think it'll be he has to fire Cameron and will be coaching for it next year.

Bruh Scott Rabalais is a huuuuge troll. This is the same guy who got on the front page telling Les to take the Michigan job if they offer, frick him. And frick no we better not fire Les Miles.

These head coaches are ego centric beings. I'm sure a lot of them want to go head up against Saban. Stupid suggestion.

Wow, hard to believe LSU is 13-9 in the SEC the last three years.

don't do it, LSU. Trust me. I have seen a very bad fire destroy a program and it isn't easy to get it back. This could easily back fire on you guys if you go through with it.

No one will heed this advice, but it's true. Miles is responsible for half of the 10-win seasons LSU has in it's history, but some think they can do better. While it's not impossible, it is unlikely, imo.

I can actually think of one reason not to fire Les just yet, and it has everything to do with the attractiveness of a coaching position -- the possibility that some candidates might take pause at the idea of taking a job where the previous coach was forced out after a 9 or 10 win season. Obviously, that's not always going to scare off elite coaches -- elite coaches tend to be arrogant and certain of themselves -- but there's always the possibility that such circumstances will have an impact on the candidate pool. One might decide that, hey, a USCw job or even a Miami job left vacant under much worse circumstances might be less precarious than a position so demanding that the previous coach was fired for achieving what would be a pretty good season at most places.

This is a terrible year to be on the market to buy a new coaching staff.

I've been trying to explain to our fans on the 24/7 board just how fricking stupid it sounds to come up with 17 million JUST to fire the guy, ruin our loaded 2016 class and ruin the 2016 season, start a coaching search months after major programs have gotten a first look, and the fact we're still 7-2 right now with 2 winnable games left.

Our fans are fricking idiots, and I'm so sick of it. I'm pissed at Les too, but they're so damn miserable.

I don't think we should fire him but he needs to feel the heat and produce wins.
