Personally I don't want him to go this season unless he retires and Joe Alleva has a plan to find a replacement. And I have zero in that guy to find a competent coach.
A good scenario would be, Get rid of Alleva. Give the new AD next season to get a coach and Les retire after 2016.
There are a lot of jobs open and too many LSU fans think LSU can get anybody. Chances are LSU will not bring in a coach as good as Miles and Saban. Better chance of landing the next muschamp.

Oh Good Lord. LSU's athletic department is as strong as ever because of Alleva's hires. I don't where some of you come up with this shite about Alleva.
Anyways, I actually do agree that the only scenario I'm okay with this is if we know for a fact Jimbo's interest is real and would come. Otherwise we'd look like idiots and deserve a Tennessee-like run of misery.

Did Alleva hire Saban?

It's 2 am, but no, I'm pretty positive it was the AD before Skip Bertman

If Mark Richt still has a job at Georgia, how can LSU fire Miles?
Well, maybe LSU wants to achieve greater things with their football team than Georgia evidently does.
Ever considered that?

The last four-five recruiting classes at LSU have been very flawed. There are simply no defensive linemen, very few quality OL, SEC LBs are almost non existent. One year no DTs at all were recruited. All those highly rated recruiting classes were built on a few quality players, all of whom played the same positions.
Great point. Exact same issue Auburn has. Take all these skill players to make recruiting look good, yet ignore the LoS players.

Obviously you don't realize what Bert has had to overcome this year.
He's won @ TN, OM, LSU and beat Pus Malzahn @ home.

I don't get the fire Les Miles by LSU ranters and fanbase...the LSU is not a blue blood program. Tennessee is closer to blue blood status then LSU honestly... Bama tOSU USC ND maybe TEXAS/Oklahoma/Nebraska will attract big names based on name. Please stop with the talent in state B.S. it makes you guys look worse. Ask Bama after we ran out Stallings...Tenn ran out Fulmer....Auburn ran out Tubbz...sometimes grass isn't greener. So go hire a Dooley, maybe a Shula or another young up and comer.

Why would Jimbo want to come to LSU and play Saban ever year? He has it made in the pathetic ACC. As long as he beats Clemson or Notre Dame (whichever one doesn't suck in any given year) he's in the title game.

If Miles stays its time for the Bobby Bowden treatment. Hire two great coordinators and turn the game management over to them. Les can still bumble around and do his weekly incoherent press conferences, but the coordinators will develop the game plans and run the play calls. Worked for JoePa and Bowden for years. We just need to get rid of Cameron, Steele, and Peveto.

Does LSU have $13M lying around to buyout the contract?
I think the number is actually 17ML.

Serious question for the Les haters, who is LSU going to get that's better?

That's just crazy if true. But, he probably has few worries since it's Ole Miss and A&M.

1% chance we get someone better who is able to use that skill and achieve more than what is happening now.
That said if you bought a couple of LSU shirts over the last decade and maybe even went to a game for the first half you got too much invest to see 2 loses in a row...maybe 3.

LSU will not get rid of Miles, this season.
