Hugh Freeze is who I'd be looking at if I was Florida, maybe Sumlin.
I don't think it matters though because I don't think he gets fired. Gators will do pretty good this year and wouldn't surprise me if they won the East. I think they beat us(Gamecocks)in the Swamp.

Gators will be good and will beat LSU, Mizzou and USC in the Swamp. The hotseat crap about Boom will be a distant memory soon and the rivals who wish bad things for us will be disappointed.
Look at 2013...where was AU & Mizzou preseason ranked? There are always surprises and rarely do preseason hypes pan out that well. We have now recruited offensive talent the past two classes, including this years true froshs..and because of injuries we redshirted a nice number of frosh. I think now the Gators will be a force to contend with...Driskel is a junior and Grier is true frosh along with Treon Harris at qb who will make the future bright at UF.

Why, that would be a bad hire. I'm not too high on Mullen' overall ability...not a bad coach, but not a for sure can't miss

but I see no Florida fan salivating over getting Spurrier back in Gator Country.
The guy would be 70 years old when he coached his first game back. That's probably one reason why opposing fans would like to see it happen.

Maybe as a late option if every major candidate says no.
Coaches Florida would ask first: Malzahn, Sumlin, Kelly (if he pulls a Saban and quits on his team), Kingsbury (if he's good this year), Briles (unrealistic but worth a shot), Hudspeth, the Mullen.
Florida will go with a proven offensive head coach if Muschamp doesn't win the SEC by 2015 (he needs 9-3, 6-2 to get 2015 for sure, 8-4 would depend heavily on a win vs. UGA or FSU).
