From what I've been told, Megan Mullen didn't like Gainesville for whatever reason, but I don't think Florida would have Dan on the shortlist anyway.

Thats how I feel, but thats just from reading this message board. You would think that if moffan had a great year and a fifth straight bowl at lil ol' moo state, there might be some pressure to consider him. And if he could get Brewster back on his staff, it wouldn't be a bad hire at all.

2012 wasn't a great Florida team, I'd take 2009,2008, 2006, 2001, 1996,1995, and possibly 1997, 1994, 2000 and 1999 over it-- At best 2012 was the 7th best Florida team in the last 20 years it hung no banners was an eye sore to watch and was ultimately forgettable.

Well, I said the past 10 years.

2006 was defensively led but had a top 30 offense as well, 2009 had both a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense.

2009's offense wasn't as good as the stats say. It really struggled in the redzone and I wouldn't call it a great offense. This is a huge reason I don't want Mullen back at Florida. I can't stand his brand of offense and without freak athletes like Percy Harvin we really struggled.

My point is that everyone calls Meyer an offensive genius but I don't think that's the case at all. I think the best things Meyer did at UF were recruit and he made Florida play a tough brand of football on each side of the ball.

Wathing the 04 UF @ UT game on SECN and didn't realize Larry Fedora had coached at UF before.

Yep, he did a great job, too. Led the league in passing and had our last 1000 yd rusher before Gillislee a couple years ago.

but I'd go for Malzahn and Sumlin before moving to him.

Is this some kind of a joke? There's no reason to leave either of those schools for Florida.

Maybe they can get Saban.

Yes, Florida sucked last year.

However, do you know why they sucked?

It does surprise me, too. He had a great year in 2012, and you guys got tore up with injuries last season. You'll be fine this year. I don't think 11-1 or 12-0 good. Your schedule is too brutal. But you will look MUCH better than last season.

Even then, I don't see any blowout losses. I'm really excited about this team.

If Florida fires Muschamp, I could see Texas A&M hiring him as their DC. Could you imagine Kevin Sumlin's Offense with Will Muschamp's Defense to go along with those star studded recruits out of Texas?

I don't either

FSU

Bama

UGA

USC

Mizz

LSU

6 teams that COULD beat you. I'd bet money that you beat AT LEAST 2 of them and would be surprised if you lose more than 3 games

I doubt that will happen.

What is the name of the coach at Central Florida? If Florida fires Muschamp, that is who they should hire.

What about Mike Leach? He took Washington State to a bowl game in his second year, a team that hadn't been bowling in over 10 years.

I know the pirate would love sailing the Atlantic.

You realize they're coming for Spurrier. And they're going to get him.

@FSU, @Bama...I don't think we beat. Thankfully most of those games besides bama and FSU are at home (except GA).

9-3 is what I predicted on the prediction thread (@Bama, SC, @FSU)

He's an excellent coach. But you clearly don't know Art. He's a good ol' Texan, and will never leave this state. For better or for worse.
