Everyone advocated the playoff as helping the non marquee programs have a chance at the national championship. I said the real effect will be that the name brand programs will always find a way to be worked in. When they go to either, bet your sweet arse a team like Ohio State will NEVER be ranked 9-...

Options disappear very quickly during a coaching search. Very delicate situation making offers and trying not to let it get out and making someone feel like they were second fiddle....

I wouldn't question whether or not he is a good coordinator because he obviously is. I only question why it's thought that he will spend a couple more years as a DC and then look to get back into a head coaching role. How is that supposed to turn him into a sought after candidate by going that route...
