I hate to shite on anyone's list but if that's your order your list is shite. A&M doesn't belong in top 10 consideration let alone top 5. The SEC in the top 6 spots is laughable.

Oregon is a great job, backed by Nike, and you only compete with USC and UCLA for the entire west coast.

I hope you are in Crystal City and don't come South. You look skeery mayne.

The Urb and Harbaugh is all you have. Now go raid your grandma's pantry.

How so? A&M in capable hands is a monster.

The problem is that in its entire history A&M has never been a monster. You have to have been there to qualify for those highly placed spots.

Are you ranking programs or coaching jobs?

Wouldn't the lack of an elite bar to live up to be a coaching destination positive?

Actually I'm on Roatan right now. Crystal City isn't a place I frequent.

I don't "have" Harbaugh. You see I despise Michigan and my school doesn't need to hang their hat on the accomplishments of other teams in the conference.

That's true, but everything else is in place and it's in a superb location. Plus, the money is ridiculous there. They could buy the rest of the SEC west outright.

I see other destinations as much more desirable. Ranking A&M above a program like USC is just silly. It's a great job imo but just not one of the elite jobs.

If the Hoos advance to the CWS I think they knock Bucknuts in the nuts and move ahead of them for the Cap One Cup for the men.

We just kept a coach from leaving us to go to USC. That is why Sumlin makes five million a year. So you are wrong obviously.

Having the ability to spend a shite ton of oil money evens out a job list. History and titles and all of that is great, but what wins are recruits and support. Texas has both.

The University of Texas should be #1 and we are top 15 no debating it for a job list.

I don't disagree about Texas.

Your USC argument makes no sense. They just came off of a huge scholarship limitation. They'll be at the top of their conference and back in the national discussion before A&M. Again. A&M has no history of being elite and College Station isnt on many peoples list of places to live.

My point is that there are teams that are debatable and there are teams that I don't see as debatable. Texas, Alabama, USC, Ohio State and a few others are destinations that in my view aren't debatable. They belong on the list.
