any one stupid enough to follow Saban at Bama will quickly discredit your premise. he's better negotiate a $50 mil. minimum cause his career is soon to end.
the scrutiny would be impossible to survive, imo. it was after the Bear left and the Bears last few teams sucked.

Notre Dame is not a top ten job. That's fricking laughable

Florida State is the best job in the nation right now imo. Very easy to win the ACC with only a handful of teams that can compete year after year and Florida is down. Alabama, Texas, and USC are the highest pressure jobs but highest rewards.
Definitely agree with this. The top 10 coaching destinations are fluid and can change literally year to year.

10. Oklahoma
I would but OSU and USC at the top because they don't have a team in state or in conference that is close to them. USC has the better location of the 2.

Ohio State does not have a great home state recruiting base.
This statement is retarded. It's a top 5 state for recruiting.

Bama is so hard to rank for me. They are hands down the most dominant program of all time. But I wouldn't rank hem high on this list. Why you say? Because they have had the #1 and #2 coach of all time. I would put Bama at 10-15 on this specific list

Also how is Ohio state not the clear cut number 1? Great recruiting base, no instate competion, tons of money and tradition, and the biggest kicker: job security. A lot easier to win 10 games and be safe there than any SEC school on the list

Florida should be on any list.
I would probably take Michigan off the list.

Notre Dame is no longer a top 10 job. People are just putting them there out of habit and the fluke year in which there were hammed by Bama.

Maybe...but Miami has won National Championships with FOUR different head coaches over 3 decades...pretty dang impressive.
UCF,USF and Florida Atlantic have all siphoned off a lot of that South Florida talent that used to automatically go there.

I'm obviously an Ohio State homer but I see it as somewhere in the top five depending on the era. Right now it's probably top 3 to me. Top talent is easy to attract there right now. They are getting nearly every Ohio kid they want and doing a pretty good job cherry picking some other states. The coaching, facilities and traditions are on par with any other school in the country.

Put it this way: I pose this question in my head, where would the best coach win the most national championships at? And my answer is Ohio state. I think Saban would have more titles at OSU than Bama

Alabama
LSU
Georgia
Florida
Texas A&M
Auburn
Oregon
Ohio State
Florida State
USC or Texas
I might change a few spots if I went back, but I based it on all variables, except the towns and cities in which they reside, for example, Austin, and LA are tourist cities. Many others are just college towns.

Kentucky is not on the list. How many on this list pay their football coach more than UK pays their basketball coach? Outside of Saban could be none.

I don't know about top 5. Top 10 for sure. I'd put top 5 at Bama, USC, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan (in no particular order) That 5th spot is tricky though.
Yeah, Florida is top 5. Great recruiting, great conference, etc. You'd have to be a Muschamp to screw it up.

Talent base is obviously a big part of the equation BUT you have to have an administration that's totally committed to winning at any cost.
Bama,OSU,Oregon and AU all would qualify in that area.
