When was the last time we didn't have an NFL RB backed up by another NFL RB? I'll wait.
Brandon Bolden is still better than Vick Ballard as well...

You have 2, maybe 3, OL good enough to make our(currently 12 person) depth chart. Don't confuse our youth with a lack of talent. And by youth, I mean 3rd yr sophs and incoming JUCO transfers.

Big frickin deal. Technically we've had "3 NFL RBs" in a row with Bolden, Dex, and Benjarvus. Yet, it doesnt make a frick RE: the upcoming season.

I'm not disputing that, even I am interested to see this kid's skill set. Sometimes engie's posts just make me think he's 15.

the newer posters come in here with all kind of fire and eventually become cool after realizing this is the internets.

Perkins has had 20+ carries in a game before. And Griffen played some last season. Who besides Scott even has a carry for you?
"So will State (struggle upfront)"
we will be fine on the OL, and we will have one of the top 4 DL's in the SEC- Mississippi cant even come close to saying that

Bolden was injured just about the entire past season, so I don't know what your point is

Right... I'm 15 for pointing out multiple instances of ignorance in a post that basically implied that OM and MSU are in identical positions going into next year.
None of you Rebels want to discuss facts because you don't like what they tell you.

Look I have never been very big on Brunetti. But I also know how much difference a coach can make, especially in the situation of college qb and coach.
Part of me thinks with good coaching (something he has definitely not recieved to date) and a creative playcaller that Brunetti could be serviceable.
The other part of me realizes he is a backup.
It really just comes down to how hard he is willing to work because if he puts in the work off the field and improves his arm strength he is the type of mobile QB Freeze likes in his offense.

Sorry UMrebels mention of us both having newcomers in the backfield fired you up so much.

Jeff scott has had 20+ carries in a game before too... why do you people keep pointing out things that apply for both teams like that makes your point?
Devin Thomas has been playing backup to Mccluster and Bolden for the past couple of years but got more touches last year than Griffin.
Nick Parker redshirted and I expect either incoming freshman Itavius Mathers or Jaylen Walton to see playing time too

I think he definitely has a chance to perform better under Freeze- but his ceiling still isnt very high
