I didn't pull any swtcharoo and you won't find a single post from devaluing what Oregon does.

This coming from you, who earlier accused me of putting words in your mouth.

This has been too easy.

I don't think anyone thinks or has said Calipari isn't a good coach. I for one think he is a great coach and love his enthusiasm on the sidelines during the game. I commented in this thread due to a comment Belle made. I think her exact words were "There's as much coaching in getting top guys to put aside the egos and buy into your system as there is coaching up lesser talent." and obviously she isn't alone in this thinking. I think that is just ridiculous but thats my opinion.

Getting guys to check their egos is no where equal to coming up with a game plan and putting the X's and O's in place so your far less talented players can compete on the same level as superstars. This is the thing I have a problem with.

Good points. I'd forgotten about those games.

But Cal has reached a level of success that should automatically put him out of COY contention because he's too good and his players are too good and IT'S NOT FAIR

Has a National Coach of the Year award ever been vacated?
