I don't know. I'm not sure I totally buy it either, I think he is still on vacation. Obviously someone else could be doing the talking, but there is no reason for him to rush into anything. There will be plenty of offers.

We've kicked the absolute dog shite out of Muschamp's defenses the last 3 times we've played him.
Your dumb arse is taking credit for Texas going 3 and out the whole first half and Muschamp's defense getting stuck in a bad situation.
You also failed to give Muschamp credit for 2007.

Will Muschamp is going to make 3 million dollars next season courtesy of UF. Unless Aubie is going to pay him more than 3 million, what he's paid is irrelevant to the discussion........

Well... We've put up 1400 yards and 117 points combined the last 3 times we've played a Muschamp defense.
Auburn has scored 44+ points twice in the last 100 years, and will likely be losing the vast majority of their offensive production from this year's game.
So why don't you do the math and figure out how scared you think I really am of Will Muschamp.

I think the Iron bowl is going to be a fun rivalry to watch going forward with the dynamics of these coaching staffs changing so often.
It's kind of like a game of chess, really.

Why would I? Congrats, I guess... against the least talented Bama team since 1970, a team who lost to ULM, and managed to be tied 0-0 at halftime against a bad FSU team.

No math needed. Just the fact you felt the need to do a stats post expresses your fear just fine.

I have so much feel right now.

His coaching acumen isn't measured by how he performs against one team. He's a good defensive mind that will actually be on the field and bring much needed intensity to a unit that plays soft, confused, and without emotion way too often.
And he will help with recruiting.
And he will help with recruiting.

That's not how Muschamp's contract works.

Solid post. This much is true.

You do seem quite terrified. Calm down.

Not true. He gets his money from Florida regardless of what he makes at Auburn. He negotiated a buyout.

He's a solid defensive football coach. So is Ellis Johnson, though.
Gus's offense is always going to stress his defense. That's just the reality of playing that style.

First time this has been said, ever. Thanks for the insight

I think that talking point is a bit overdone. It's not totally wrong, but we don't run HUNH all the time and our defense is often porous for entire games this year, including situations where fatigue isn't a factor.
