I disagree. You don't want your student section yelling TSWRA on national TV every Saturday, when most people don't even know what it means. shite most of the KA's and Pike's just say it just to say it and don't even think about it.
GDI???

You sayin he AIN'T Jesus?
No, he stabbed us in the back at Appomattox. Stonewall Jackson is Jesus, killed by his own people, and his second coming will be glorious!

Robert E Lee would have wanted us too. Not in a serious tone but just because he was the spiritual founder and all that shite.

It wasn't a pressing issue though. It got blown way out of proportion.

I think your sarcasm detector is broken.

That's kind of my point. Jones knew it would BECOME and issue. With all the CR backlash growing, FB groups, full page ads, TV Networks bitching about racist imagery at OM football games. Jones had no choice but to stop it before it became a national media story and an OM disgrace.

Only on campus. Jones made it a huge deal amongst those on campus and Alumni to get his point across that there were two choices, stop TSWRA or lose Slow Dixie. I admit (as in my other post) that he should have at least tried a couple other methods before issuing the ultimatum. But once he did that, he HAD to follow through or lose all respect immediately.

Why isn't this allowed to be played anymore?
By the time I'm an old man this world will be totally sterilized and homogeneous. A shame this last generation of adults have caved in on so much.

Because ALL Ole Miss and State fans know that generalization is a VERY accurate method for winning e-fights.

I don't see the problem with them having a lot of respect for their founder, especially with how good of a man he was.

Stop thinking, you clearly struggle at it.

I read it.. still don't know why it's not being played. Because you were getting shite from networks... that's what I'm seeing..
The question was more rhetorical.. was more of a shot at ole miss for backing down.

Connotations of the song aside, it is beautiful.
