That is all I am going to say. I know meetings are taking place this week to discuss things like this, so I would just like a reminder post in case "higher people" actually read this site.

I really enjoy the West. I love playing LSU, and Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Arkansas have become an extremely bit of annoying fun over the years...to the point of hate.

But I really wish Auburn would get back to playing the Eastern teams like we used to.

This whole Texas A&M + Missouri thing was GREAT for our conference (I am glad to have them, honestly), but we (Auburn) have made too many sacrifices along the way since the 1992 expansion (Florida, Tennessee, Georgia Tech).

In your meetings, think of a way SEC! Now is the time to decide. If we need a better system...then we need a better system. Don't be afraid of change. The BIG 10 certainly hasn't when they modified their conference with Rutgers and Maryland.

Climb down off your soap box and just admit you like your chances better in the East

We've finished dead first quite a few.

LSU knows about this.

The SEC looks like illiterate f@cks with Missouri residing in the SEC East past a mere initial phase displacement.

Long term it must be corrected, and I say this even as a fan of an SEC West school, that after an initial first or second visit, knows that I'd have no interest in returning to Columbia-Mo regardless of it's niceness, just due to the mileage alone.

The whole Ala-Tn, Ala-Aub, UGA-Aub ,etc..series BS is holding up common sense and fair/fully balanced scheduling for the rest of the conference schools.

Maybe just send Alabama to the East and leave Auburn and LSU in the West. They could have Tennessee that way.

Did you petition Jay Jacobs or President Gouge with your wishes? They are the only folks that can throw it up for a vote at the conference.

Youd have to send Georgia West in that situation which would destroy more rivalries

A&M, Ole Miss, MSU does not equal USCe, Kentucky and Vandy. Don't forget Mizzou. Give me a break.

I do agree changes need to be made but, come on.

I would love to trade Auburn for Mizzou. Auburn will soon be good again. Mizzou will suck for all time.

They are not powers. It has 3 Big Six members in each division. There's no situation where the divisions are completely equal.

When Ole Miss and MSU return to their average then it's as even as it gets.

I am not driving back to Texas for a game again. I love SEC football games, but Auburn has been, and forever shall be a part of the Eastern United States...for a reason. Gas money and time really take a lot of consideration into this matter, especially with my kids.

Thankful we added A&M (I understand your situation), but best of luck to you in the future. That is too far away given our location.
