competitive balance is the main issue, it would probably mean realignment every so often as the powers do shift.

I wouldn't say competitive balance is the main issue. I think it's an equal issue with the other two factors you listed.

& I'm arguing that those games have meaning to Tn., Vandy, & Ky.. Just because you don't care doesn't mean they don't.

& what if the random non-SEC fan wants to see the Tn./Vandy game.... .?

I got that. Since AU fans also care about playing their rivals, it offsets that and makes it even. So you look at who everybody else would want to see play.

They don't. But if they did then that game would have precedence

Look if Auburn thinks there's a benefit to this they should start politicking for it. Go out and get support from the SEC and beat out factions that are against it.

I honestly get the feeling that a good many of Auburn's fans like the idea of moving east and the University is currently putting out feelers to gauge how other schools feel about it.

You can want something all you want but if you can't get votes you can't get votes. It's not about "keeping Auburn down" it's about "how does this benefit me?" Auburn needs to convince some other schools that the move will benefit them.

Who don't? You said pick a random non-SEC person & I simply stated that this person wanted to see the Tenn./Vandy game & you're making it out to be ALL ABOUT AUBURN again (which you have to get used to the fact that some people JUST DON'T CARE ABOUT Y'ALL!).

You can rotate the divisions every year with 4X4 pods.
Year 1 - Pods A/B vrs. Pods C/D
Year 2 - Pods A/C vrs. Pods B/D
Year 3 - Pods A/D vrs. Pods B/C

Play everybody in 3, do a full H/H in 6.

WTF are you talking about? I said if people that aren't involved in the rivalries would rather watch UT/Vandy over AU/UF then there'd be no justification for rejuvenating the AU/UF series at the cost of the UT/Vandy series.

Please explain how that is making it all about Auburn

I get that. I don't expect anybody but Auburn fans to care about Auburn. Most people would like as much quality football as possible. You're going to get more quality football by having AU/UF go up against each other rather than UT/Vandy

Kick out TAMU and Mizzou. Go back to 12 teams. Play a 5-2-1 SEC schedule and whoop a Big10 team once a year to keep their mouth shut (unless you're already playing an ACC team).

Right. Your point?

Do you think people outside Tennessee watch UT/Vandy?

nobody can explain how auburn and clemson are more alike than any other university other than gay stuff about the same mascot and one building that looks kind of similar but also looks simlar to buildings on other colelge campuses. etc
