Auburn was great too. Except for Starkville, I have never had a bad time in a SEC town. But Savannah is home, and I'll be here unless my company explodes.

ARE YOU IN..OR OUT, MCFLY?

I'm OOT 8/15 - 8/25 in New Orleans then Chicago. So it would depend on how late in August.

Lame. I'm consulting with Mercy Hospital on a project they're starting in January. Almost moved there last May

you gonna be on the plains for the DSOR?

I'll have several tailgates to visit but I could chug some millers with you. You seem to be one of the less objectionable auburn fans on here.

I'll be there. I float but I always meet up with several other Aubies here. Your beer sucks but I''ll gladly provide it

I came to a revelation the other night: while hipsters mostly suck, they do have good beer and good food wherever they are...so they aren't all bad. I never thought I wouldn't have a good time, I can't think of many places I've had a bad time. I will definitely consult the wisdom of some of you frickers before I come down that way.

cool.

Last time we were there in '13 me and nite met up with swoopin and plazadweller. Great time. This year nite and swoopin will be definite meetups, not sure if we'll swing by plaza's or not, I haven't talked to him about it yet. It was kind of a week of sorta thing last year.

But I'm down if you are. I alwyas like meeting new foloks. I'm pretty personable.

I've been to Athens. That's a nice little town in those photos, but it ain't exactly the seat of Western Civilization.

Went to Creature Comforts yesterday for the first time, that place is awesome and even better than Terrapin. Their Tropicalia IPA is the shite. Also, they get you pretty drunk.

One of those places is a good place to go if you want to get arrested for trespassing. Unless you put your jonboat in at hwy 15 and ride an hour north up the Oconee River.... then it's legal.

The beer itself or the brewery tour? I've never seen it an any stores. Any idea who carries it?

As far as the original OP, I grew up and live 30 minutes outside of Athens/Clarke County and it is without a doubt one of the best places in the state.

Nobody. It isn't sold in retail stores yet, just bars.

uga / Athens would be cooler if it where Rome is, in north Georgia mountains.

imagine if berry college was a large state public. lol that would be so sweet.
