I try to prioritize good sleep - magnesium, ltheanine, slow release melatonin 1 MG. I find that if I get 1.5 hours of REM I feel good, otherwise I don’t. I use the Oura sleep ring to track. Real story is most people are obese and have horrible sleep hygiene habits (caffeine, phone 4+ hours a day, no exercise, regular alcohol use, anxiety, depression, etc). Probably not the the worst thing to remove another potential sleep disruptor (snoring spouse, tossing turning, etc)....
