Of course he does it doesn't mean it's true if he said he supports the flag then he'd get so much criticism

Mike Bonner and Hugh Kellenberger are both fricking homosexuals for asking that question at Media Days anyway. The clarion ledger is a fricking joke.

Yet he freed his slaves prior to leaving for the Civil War while his counterpart Grant never freed his three slaves. He sent them back to his wife's family. Just one of many ironies that blow holes in a lot of the "MYTHS" of the Civil War.

He could have easily gone the Dan Mullen coach speak route, but he's held accountable by his players.

quote:

The strongest opinion came from Ole Miss defensive lineman C.J. Johnson. Johnson, a Mississippi native, resides in the only state currently prohibited from hosting certain NCAA postseason events because of a state flag that incorporates the Confederate flag. Johnson said it was time for change. "For me personally, growing up in Philadelphia, Mississippi where there's been a lot of racism particularly in the (1980s) and early (1990s), I feel like it should come down," Johnson said. "Although it represents some people's history, there are still a lot of people out there who use it to show hatred or ill will to other people."
