i'm not getting into this $$ holler but i think accurately it would be the son of a guy who owns a company that is a franchisee of a company that is 1/10th the size of sam's club.
or does he own all of bass pro?

I don't know his kids or Johnny personally but he seems like a modest man who has done incredible things for the Ozarks, specifically around Table Rock Lake where I grew up. NWA has also benefitted as a result of the Ozarks becoming an outdoorsman destination, which Morris played a huge role in.
that said, Ole Miss reminds me a lot of Uptown Dallas, $40k millionaire everywhere

This.
But lets change the subject from them. Great people and a friend. Shouldn't have brought it up anyway.

Mississippi is a state with zero Fortune 500 companies, and maybe 1 privately held company in the top 300, so I guess it is unusual to see the offspring of big company people there. Seeing people with money is actually noteworthy.
Nah, no Dillards, Hunts, Tysons, Murphys or Waltons or their inlaws ever show up in Fayetteville. Otherwise, our student body would be considered "stupid rich".

I don't think you understand how logical thinking works.
Your arguments in this thread....
Ole miss doesn't have rich kids because Mississippi kids are poor
Ole miss rich kids are all from out of state
Ole miss doesn't have any rich kids.
And then you turn the arguments you use against ole miss into pro-Arkansas arguments.
Wps amirite?

Dude must have lost a girl or gotten his arse beat in Oxford. He's more rustled about Ole Miss than most MSU fans.

His dad's company must have gotten outbid for a project by an ole miss dads company.

Jim Walton went to Arkansas. I'm not sure where Christy went, but she married into it and lives in Wyoming. She works with the Walton Family Foundation which does a lot in Arkansas and the Mississippi Delta.
Sorry, the bar is set pretty high for Arkansas billionaires.
Poor ole Jerry Jones could buy and sell some of your states' richest people a few times. He's only worth 4.2 billion himself. Next time I see him getting buzzed at Maxine's I'll ask him where he ranks among alumni.

Nah, I said Ole Miss doesn't have a high number of rich kids, regardless of where they're from. Probably has a pretty average number of rich kids. Most likely below average, per capita. Maybe a higher percentage of rich kids compared to LSU or state.

But does this really help us? We need to stop playing footsie and find a way out of here or we're all going to die!

I think your pledge brother lied to you. Bass Pro is owned by Johnny Morris who lives in Springfield, MO where it's headquartered.

His son was a Sigma Nu at Ole Miss. It's not exactly a secret.

$1.3 billion officially. As has been pointed out in this thread, a lot of the net worth's are understated for various reasons.

His son doesn't own Bass Pro. Girls are supposed to believe that lie. Not his actual pledge brothers. Johnny also has three other kids that can stake a claim.
