Tracking flights is the best part of any coaching search.

SEMO, in all seriousness it will be Herman or Patterson. That's what I am hearing from my guy behind the scenes.

Are you SWGA??
And I know you believe this. What does Kilgore say?

I saw Kilgore is hearing the same information. So we know he perfectly tracked the Marshall thing all the way down to him staying because of the family situation.
Lots of smoke here at this point. Got to agree with Kilgore, at least at this moment.

So you're saying Kilgore has good sources and is trustworthy...
Ok; I'm in! But if we hire Paul Rhodes I'm gonna strangle Kilgore for getting my hopes up.

It appears to be so.
I agree if they hire Rhodes I might punch Kilgore in the sack.

You'd have to get in line.
Seriously, hearing Patterson or Herman is cool. Mack has the rep for the big hire, so I expect him to come through this time too.

Okay, so I trodded over to tigerboard and my eyes are bleeding now. Patterson would be awesome, just don't see it happening. I have zero inside knowledge, but my gut tells me it's still the big three, Odom, Herman, or Fuente.

What if we hired Herman and he were able to keep Odom and Kul?
fricking dream team

Why is Rhoades having a press conference tomorrow?

I was told that Alden sent the Mizzou plane out without him in it a couple times as a distraction
So an empty flight either way.
I was listening to KMOX in the car around 9:30 last night and this Ben Fredrickson clown of the P-D was on and practically melting with fear over the odds of getting a good hire with the 1950 shitshow.
Talked about losing multiple commits from this class, a long-term stain, and the need to add "bodies". He was also decidedly anti-Barry Odom feeling Mizzou needs a head coach with HC experience. I wanted to hurl when he dropped the name of Will Muschamp as a possibility.
He wrote a more level-headed column in today's paper, but are we in a bubble on this? Is this whole 1950 fiasco going to leave a permanent mark?

Leach is in eastern washington in pullman. not close to seattle
So Leach caught a puddle jumper and met Mack in Seattle.

That StL PD article by BenFred regarding Herman is a pretty good read. LINK
CS1950, no pres., no chancellor are and will be factors in the coach search. And not a positive one either. Both sides of this issue are not happy. Not what you need when shopping for a SEC coach. Just the facts.

Fredrickson is flat out terrible.
He writes some of the worst columns I've ever read. I still remember him writing some column from the view of one of the Cardinals body parts.
As for the protests...maybe I'm being naive but I don't see it being a factor. It's already lost any national appeal as quickly as it gained it.

What others say...here is a poll on Bill O'Reilly's website. I could not link it directly. Yes, I'm sure replies are mainly conservative folks. But the results are very stark.

I will be a little reluctant 5%

As you said, it's O'Reilly. His target audience is not going to be happy with the events. This is no surprise.
BUT as has been proven throughout history. Time heals wounds. As I said, this story has lost a ton of steam and will only fade further with time.
Hell, this happened AND our coach announced his resignation and we only lost one recruit.
I think people, especially middle aged white conservatives, are putting way too much emphasis on this.
